I attend a presbyterian church I never knew what you called the people who carry the candle during the precession. In my church they walk down the aisle before the choir and light the candles set on the alter. What are they called and what is the purpose of the candle. I just graduated from college and want to go on a adventure. I live in miami Florida and I wanted to start to packraft. As far as I know there are only a few stores in the area that sell them, but non of the associates at these stores seem to know much about it. Can some one please direct me to a site for beginners, forums are cool but its just a bit cumbersome to comb through them and only gain a little information. Thanks

I had the Asus transformer prime for a little over eight months and than it crapped out on me, so I use my insurance to trade it in for the new I pad. I had it for about three hours, and realized its just a giant iPod touch (which I already have). Best Buy no longer carries the prime, and I want another tablet not made by Asus, any suggestions

Why does astor piazolla music makes me feel so calm. I never cared for classical music, but when I hear any of his music; like le grand tango (played by kremer) or oblivion, this calmness takes over my body and nothing seems to bother me. Its Amazing and I love it

I live in an area where many students do not continue on to college. I wanted to create a magazine that compiles all the local colleges and their programs so students can see what each college has to offer. I created my first issue, and have it the Way i want it. I am ready to distribute it but the cost of printing is astronomical. I wanted to know how in the world business just hand out thousands of magazines for free. I thought of just making website but many of the kids do not have internet access. any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

My college choir is performing Third Mass (The Imperial of Lord Nelson) by Joseph Haydn and the piece some what difficult for me to read. I play the trumpet and I am use to reading the treble clef; and reading the bass line and in Latin is a bit too difficult and I need some help. I have a major problem, I am an information technology major and can not find a topic for my undergraduate thesis. I thought about doing one abut cyber crimes and adult content filters, but was informed by my research adviser that a solution for both problems already exist, and the thesis will just repeat the content that is already available. I attend a florida state college (a community college that offers bachelors degrees). I am currently a senior in an Information technology program, however my school does not offer undergraduate research. I was thinking about coming up with my own research project and have a couple of department heads look over it when I am done.
The reason why I want to do this is because I really want to go to law school and I fear that the required curriculum that is offered at the college will not be viewed as rigorous.

I recently left a baptist church and am toying with the thought of joining a presbyterian (USA) church.I really enjoy the church service and feel that I am actually learning. I find that the service is more intellectually stimulating amd encourage one to think; in contrast to the baptist church that I attended that was full of long winded preaching that was presented in a fussy lecture format. However I after several hours of online research of the Presbyterian faith I keep seeing that Presbyterian USA churches are considered to be very liberal (gay marriage and the like). Can anyone tell me how you can tell whether how you can determined whether or not a Presbyterian church is liberal or not.
Also a question about the apostles' creed.... What does it mean that I believe in the Holy Catholic cross.

It never ceases to amaze me how rigid apple is when it comes to making new products. Why didn’t apple have a 3G at& t option for the new ipod touch? (Or another cellular company)
Why doesn’t the ipod touch have a camera yet?????
Why does the ipod touch works better on mac's. I used my zune HD on a mac book and it worked exactly the same as it would on a PC
Why isn’t the ipod touch flash compatible, this is (the main reason im jailbroken).
My point is this… I think that apple needs to work out the flaws of the ipod touch before they move on to the ipad.
P.S
If apple wanted to market the ipod touch as gaming device why the hell won’t they just add a damn joystick, instead of those stupid touch controls? They can even create a portable joystick that plugs into the usb slot.
