  • OIt takes several tries to start the car.?

The fuel pump has been replaced. I was told that I need new hoses, but I don't recall what kind of hoses. Perhaps someone can tell me? They are under the hood, on the driver's side. Thank you. Supposedly, they're a few dollars and hopefully, I can replace them myself.

  • vintage clothing: hawaiian vintage shirts?

i found a shirt, great shape but definitely old label sewn all four sides: PRINCE KUHIO, with a crown logo in the center, and a hanging, faded tag: RN 20942. i'm fairly certain it's 100% cotton. it's a reverse print with matching left pocket. buttons are either wood, or specifically, bamboo, there are four to mid chest, over the head shirt, NOT button down all the way. pointed collar, slits on both sides of hem. anyone know the decade or is this reproduction and quite recent? thank you for any knowledgeable answers.

  • why would a man try to make you leave him?

instead of just leaving you, when that's what he wants? is it bc he doesn't want the responsibility of doing so, and this way he's guilt-free? instead, he manipulates people against you by complaining @ you, making himself 'poor me,' and acting dumb and helpless. is there another reason for this? i'm so honest in my dealings with people, it seems cowardly and strange. anyone understand this type of behavior, seriously?

  • what do you call it when your 'friend'?

talks you down to someone else. then, when you come upon them or meet them for the first time, they have this hostile attitude. so, then you talk to your 'friend' about it and they deny it (of course). but the someone else knows things about you, or looks at you funny. it's happened several times now.

why would your 'friend' do this, to sorta pre-sabotage you with people that are close to them? and then tell you they love you. doesn't make sense.

    serious answers please.

  • should you tell your bf?

i went on a training session yesterday at my bf's new job with him and the trainer. i was trying to keep it friendly and the trainer hit on me and it was straight out, no subtlety. he asked about our relationship, and i said the only thing i don't like about my bf was his lack of sometimes backing me, but i'm sure a lot about me drove him crazy... lol. he's still working there, i choose not to tho; should i tell him, bc he may have to work directly with this guy? this is a tough guy, and i don't want my bf to have any problems with him. what do i do please?

  • i don't think it's cool for my bf to go out?

with his friend, who told him he wants to hit the bars and pick up chicks. when you're in a relationship, there should be some consideration for the other's feelings. if he wants to hang out with his friend, he can do that in another setting than a pick-up place. but of course he disagrees, 'i wanna have a few beers with my friend,' so either have em at home, in a restaurant, or invite me?

  • what do you girls think of boys night out?

esp when you KNOW your bf's friend is in the service, has mentioned picking up girls when they hit the bars, and your bf has occasionally flirted and lied a few times to you? hmm... just stay cool and don't think about it? don't wanna be a b**** about it, but couldn't i, shouldn't i, be invited with them? or not?

  • so, mechanic said it was the fuel pump?

that was causing the car to not start. so, he replaced it. still stalled, so he put in a programmable cable modem, still stalled. says the diagnostic told him NOT the injection shorting. he said there is nothing else to do, doesn't make sense. now what? he said that he's been turning it on over and over to test it, scratching his head about it, and can't figure it out. this is a chevy, not a maserati... lol what do we do next???

  • what does it mean when your ex bf?

says 'i don't know' when you ask if he would ever want to get back together? and the only other thing he says is 'what do you want?' sounds to me like he's afraid to make any decision, afraid to say yes or no, and he'd always rather not be the one to make the choice. kinda like i think he led me to break up with him by being horrible.

  • why do guys do this to girls?

why do they get 'moods' where they become quiet, sullen, cold, pretending not to know what you're saying? these are not moods, but simply purposeful actions to show their displeasure with you, your relationship, not unlike an employer getting you to quit, instead of having the outright courage to fire you. they don't want to be the one to break up with you, so they act miserable towards you and get you to do it for them... leave little clues around that'll upset you and then you'll fall into the trap and start a quarrel. then, they're indignant, and they lie about whatever. where are all the honorable men nowadays???

  • what would you do if your bf?

kept checking out this girl 'mutual friend' on fb, over and over to look at her pic, and while doing so, said he wanted to have sex with me? and did and said WAY different things in bed right then than ever before in our 2 year relationship? and lied and said he didn't know who she was when i asked why he kept returning to her page? and then suddenly 'remembered' ?

this isn't the first time he had an 'incident' on fb with another girl, this is the third time, and he gave me his word it wouldn't happen again?

i said, sure we can be friends, but i don't appreciate my body being used for you to practice techniques and ask me how each thing feels, for the possible benefit of someone else. i'm old-fashioned this way, and don't take sex as a casual thing.

but, it's mostly that once i can't believe him, then i can't trust him, and w/o trust, you have nothing.

ladies: what would bother you more, if you found out that your guy was having sex with someone else or if he became 'really close friends' with someone? emotional or physical, which is worse?

    guys: same ?

  • my bf suggested i sign onto this site to make money online?

so i did it, he said answer a few questions, so i did. he said later he thought i'd be good at it. he never told me to read the study part first, and i'm not too computer savvy, so i took him at his word - MY BAD - and just took the test, which of course i failed bc i hadn't studied.

then HE took it, read all this stuff he then showed me, and made sure to give dif answers than he watched me give.

i feel like a guinea pig, and when i tried to reapply, they told me forget it. it has to be your real name and info, bc of payment and taxes, so i'm shut out. he, however, makes money at it!

worst part for me is, he will not admit he was less than honorable about this. it's like he wanted to top me or something. wtf?

he laughs when i get mad about it, prolly fake. this is not the first situation in which he refuses to accept any responsibility for his actions or inactions; nor the first time he's blamed things - to other people - on me instead of taking some of the blame himself.

    what do you think seriously?

  • i asked about my bf's mother who's trying to separate us,?

and what i neglected to add: she doesn't like that i'm older than he is

she wants him to live at home with her bc she calls EVERYDAY, truly, to ask favors from him

he has access to his grandfather's (her father's) money, which she wants

he would be her companion: i heard her tell him that he's her 'only friend, my only reason for living'

and so, the problem is more that he will NOT ever tell her to stop interfering in our almost two year relationship with one another.

his preferred way to cope with anything unpleasant is to ignore it bc it won't change anything. sighs

  • my bf's mother never stops trying to break us up?

in any way she can: degrading comments to him @ me, yet more degrading comments to me @ our relationship, spreading lies and gossip to other people, who repeat it to him, manipulations of all manner that will cause us to quarrel. i know he knows it's true, bc he's admitted it, but often he's in denial, and his solution is to ignore it, bc it won't change anything. he will NOT speak up to her... help please!

  • why is it that just when you're so annoyed with bf for not backing you?

that he shows you something he wrote on fb that DID back you? okay, so i feel like i overreacted, bc sometimes he hasn't backed me. but this time, he did, and he was great and oh, why why why do men always do the opposite of what we expect? lol

  • my boyfriend and i separated for 3 months?

in march 2010 and got back together in june, so we've been together almost two years. he told his relatives, mother, father, grandfather, brother, godfather, uncle, aunt, cousins! that i kicked him out when in reality he left bc times were hard and he didn't have the courage or whatever to deal. so, they talk so much crap about me and blame me, and he doesn't tell the truth, nor rarely defends me. when i tell him that's cowardly, he tells me he doesn't want to hear it. is this right?

  • my boyfriend's voice changes?

as does his way of speaking, the way he phrases things, when he sees a girl his age who's at all attractive. it's REALLY obvious to me... lol... should i say anything to him? should i laugh it off... it IS kind of funny, but yeah, kinda annoying, too. btw, i'm older than he is. i do not, however, change my voice or way of speaking near attractive older men... lol
