hi I'm 16, i want to begin learning computer programming.

i recently purchased a Raspberry pi and i wasn't too sure what to or where to start with.

2 languages i have heard of attract me; Python, and C.

now, i have looked at examples of both and C is as we all know a low level very statical language whereas python is a high level language familiar to English.

I'm indecisive whether it is better to start with a statical Language such as C or would i be better off wit a simpler high level language such as Python?

i can run bioshock infinite at medium quality graphics. (high with a tad lag)

could i run bf4 at a relatively low graphical level? how good/bad is the lower/lowest graphic options?

i want to get a RTS as much alike as possible as lotr: battle for middle earth ONE (2 was awful)

Hi, i am 154 LBs and am 5'7". I want to lose a stone

My diet consists of mainly crap. But little of it.

I don't eat breakfast.

I eat very little at school.

Then eat at home.

I HAVE to have at least 2/3 cans of coke a day. Just have to no questions.

Anyway. For exercise. I have an elliptical (cross) trainer which i do 10 minutes on resistance 2 at on average 4.2 KM an hour (or Miles, not Sure. European manufacture so probably km). This sounds really crap when you think about it. What would be better, longer or harder resistance?

I also walk home everyday which is a 30 minute slowish walk.

Anyway. What things could i change in my diet? I don't want super healthy but icky. Just nice stuff that doesn't contain much calories.

Hi, i'm in year 11 (UK) and i am unsure about the worth of certain grades.

Last year, in June. We had mock exams. Now i didn't do that bad in them but comparing to what i'm supposedly capable of, wasn't great at all

They were past papers and would have been my real exams if i were year 11 last year.

I had minimal to no revision. So these grades could be much better.

1 A* ( spanish

1 A ( business)

3 Bs (english language, maths, history)

1 C (science)

1 D (RE)= religious education. (Catholic school :/)

Now, with maths and science i can do a whole lot better if i revise. RE i have trouble because even though its just remembering stuff, i can't remember that much information.

Arrogance aside, i am gifted and talented, so everyone tells me. And i am predicted all A*s. now i know its counter-productive, but i don't believe i'll achieve it. Here's what i believe i am capable of.

2 A*s Spanish, Maths,

7 As english language, history, all 3 sciences, pe theory, Business.

2 Bs RE, english literature.

Is that good, or very good, or not good enough?

I am worried about my literature exam because i just don't get books, i detest reading fiction. I like reading to inform me, not some person's strange ideas. Is a B seen as good with employers/further education?

Would it matter much as long as i had an a* maths and an a english and science?

So, ive lost a couple of the cars i've put in my garage, im only annoyed because i dropped 30k on each customising them.

The 2nd house/safehouse you get i robbed a car, put it in my garage. Left it there for an hour, came back, it was still there, customised it, then drove around a bit, ditched it, found a bike, customised it, when to put it in my garage. Wasn't there. The next day, my bike is gone. Where have they gone? Have i ultimately lost 60$?

I over heard this song a while ago, and it just suddenly got into my head, the beat only though, i cant Remember any lyrics. The only part i remember, which must be the chorus as it is repeated several times, its like a 7/8 syllable line and after every syllable there is a drum beat and guitar riff played throughout it, i think word said during this is 'fighting'

I Remember playing the n64 version as a kid but i was too young to really enjoy it. So i was wondering, is the remake, golden eye:reloaded the exact same campaign? Just added multiplayer and that? Cause my n64 doesn't work anymore and i really want to play the campaign again!

I enjoy basketball, i don't watch much as there's not much on tv in the UK. This is one sport that when i play, i'm one of the better players. I know the tricks and techniques, i score relatively quite a lot, but recently i haven't played much. I never joined a club. Hi, i enjoy watching films, like a lot. And i was watching inception and it made me think "i wanna do that". Now i don't do much acting, but i can tell i have something in the sense of pretending. What does it take to become an actor? Is it too late at 15?

I had misplaced my retainers on monday, which was (the night before) last worn them. If i cant find them by tomorrow, i will have to get replacement ones, will my teeth have moved much in two weeks? (As it took a week to make my braces). Also will i have to get my teeth remoulded? Like they put that play-dough shiz in your mouth which is nasty.

Hi, i am 15 and want to be a programmer, predominantly working on video games, but as long as i can get a job i don't mind.

we did a very basic course on making a game using gamemaker GML, it has a drag and drop feature so code isn't really needed unless you are doing complicated things. While i didn't learn much about coding, i learnt how complicated things and variables work and thought even know i can't code anything, i know a bit about programming already.

So, i started getting creative on my own, for a school competition, to make a game, It was ok, it worked, minimum bugs, which i managed to fix. However, most of it was drag and drop although i did use some code to get random spawning and deletion of objects etc. (with help from my dad with 30+ years experience).

now i want to start doing complicated stuff, i have a game planned to do on gamemaker to use GML code instead of drag and drop. Should i bother or use a popular language? If so what language should i start using? I have been suggested java and flash but is there better/easier ones to start out with?

lastly, if i am to make a career of this, where should i conduct my studies at? i want to go to college, but i really don't want to go to university, what would be the best option?

Hi, i recently bought some weights. I'm not too sure what routine to do. I have 2 0.5kg 2 1.25kg and 2 2.5kg (1kg=2.2ibs).

Atm i have been doing 5 sets of 10 reps of bicep curl of 2.5kg(5.6ibs). (Switching arm per set as i only have one dumbell). Will this be any good? I thought of trying 5kg (11ibs(. But it seems a struggle yet doable but i don't want to strain my muscles.
