  • reasonably priced travel between Stansted and Newcastle upon Tyne?

Arriving at Stansted from Australia mid-May, need to get up to Newcastle.

Last time we came over, we went via Heathrow and caught the train up via GNR which was dirt cheap on advance purchase.

I can't seem to find cheap train fares from Stansted?? Anyone got any ideas on train travel OR other cut price transport North?

    cheers, Chloe.

  • help with pelvic instability?

does anyone know of any online web support groups for pelvic instablility for someone who is NOT pregnant?

i've been coping with this for seven years, never been pregnant.

every help website seems to be for pregnant women that only suffer with this for a few months.

  • teen pregnancy question - australians please.?

my sister is 19, has no job, hasn't signed on for the dole, has no savings, no car, no drivers license, owes her last flatmate $1,000 in back rent and hasn't really got anywhere to live cause she has no money.

her mum lives in another state.

she met a 23yo boy in february who earns great money and she is now one month pregnant to him. he works away so out of the three months she's known him, my sister has spent very little actual time with him. he is saving money to buy a house but i think still lives at home.

she is excited she's pregnant and is now thinking that it's now this boys full responsibility to look after her.

what can i do or say to make her realise that if she intends to be a mother, she needs to get her life sorted out IMMEDIATELY and not rely on everyone else to come to her rescue? she doesn't seem to think what she is doing is WRONG.

i'm extremely concerned about the child's welfare as she runs from most types of responsibility.

  • bleeding and on the pill?

i'm on the pill to control period pains (it's not endometriosis - i've been checked for that).

problem is, i now have quite a bit of breakthrough bleeding. i bleed probably about 14 days (including period) out of a total of 28. it's not fun.

why is this happening? i have a short cycle of 24 days and the pill is forcing me onto a longer unnatural cycle. could this be the cause?

  • bathroom renovations - australia?

we're in a brick and tile home and we've just removed the bathtub from our tiled bathroom.

the bath was tiled in and when pulled out, we discovered it was laying on sand and not the concrete slab as assumed. when we dug through the sand to find the slab, we just kept digging. the homes concrete slab doesn't look like it goes underneath the bath??? is this normal? or is the bathtub supposed to lay on top of the slab?

I don't want to make her uncomfortable. so what should I AVOID saying or doing?
