  • How should i have my hair?

I am a 28 mother of 2. I have platinum blonde fairly fine hair, and at the moment it just hangs at my shoulders with a few layers. I have a fringe that is swept to the side with a side parting. I am board! I love the colour so dont want to change that, but i want a "style" rather than just long hair. I fancy it short, cropped even but didnt know if it would suit my face shape. My hairdresser said it would but my hubby says not!! I tried the site where you upload a pic and "try on" hairstyles, but it was rubbish. Serious answers only please. Thanks guys!

  • My dog is vommiting once a week.?

She is a border collie x retriever and is 6 and of good health generally. She has started stretching alot ( back end in the air, face to the ground) and is being sick on average once a week and this has been the case for 3 weeks now. She is eating her normal dog food and drinking plenty, before and after vomitting. I have stopped giving her bits of "people food" to see if this is the problem, but she was sick today after nothing. Anyone got any advice or an idea of why shes doing this?Shes never been a sicky dog. I can obviously take her to the vets but thought id ask on here too. Thanks. (please, no stupid anwers, shes a much loved family member).

  • PLEASE HELP,IM DESPERATE.?

My health visitor doesn't have a clue and i need help asap.I breast fed my first child without any problems and and breastfeeding my second baby who is now 12 weeks old.He often pulls at my breast during a feed, like hes stretching my nipple. This has led to one nipple totally cracking. Its been bleeding a little and is extremely painful.I am using Lanolin cream and using breast Shields on that nipple when feeding now, but its still a bit painful and I'm so tense with waiting for it to hurt, that my shoulders neck and head hurts now.Am i able to just leave him off that breast altogether and just feed him all the time on the other one?(He latches on ok ,I'm just now breaking him off gently when he starts to pull.)Will my "good" breast make more milk if he continues to feed off only that one? Will my bad breast be ok if he never uss it again,or at least till its healed.Thanks.

  • Cervix at the back of my babies head?

I am 8days overdue with our 2nd baby.Last week i had a few contractions and the midwife did an internal, saying i was 2 cm dilated but my cervix was behind the babys head and needed pulling forward when she checked it.However this week the midwife says my cervix is so far back she cant even check it.Im due to be induced in 2 days time, but how can they induce me if they cant reach my cervix? Is it gonna slow it all down with it being so far back?Is that why my baby is late?(my 1st came on due date, though i know its quite rare). Please help as imconfused and now my midwife has gone on holiday.

I CANNOT AFFORD TO GO TO A SALON! I have been told by a friend who is a hairdresser that in order to go from my medium brown colour to blonde,i should choose ash blonde as it will prevent it from going orange where as warm tones eg honey blonde will go orange. Is this correct advice?I have bought ash blonde nice and easy but reluctant to use it yet!!

  • I want a cool name for my baby boy who is due in May.?

I dont like traditional names like Harry,George,Peter etc (i do like them but not for my child).I dont want anything "way out" like Storm, and i dont want anything really popular like Callum,Corey or Cameron.I work with abused children so its hard to find a name that wont remind me of a child i know. Our surname is Gibson so idealy it wont have a "an" "on" "en" sound on the end like Jensen,Robson or Ryan.TALL ORDER I KNOW-SORRY!. Thanks for all suggestions.xx
