I live with my mom and my son. Last year, my mom claimed my son on her taxes because I didn't do mine since I didn't work in 2007 when he was born. This year, however, I am going to do my taxes an d was just wondering if it would be more beneficial for her to claim him or me. Which one of us would get more money? She made more than I did but she also lost her job in December.

i recently enrolled my 22 month old son in daycare a week and a half ago. When I drop him off he screams and cries like crazy and also when I pick him up. I've noticed that his behavior has changed a lot since he started daycare. he used to be friendly and get along with everything and now he just screams and cries for everything. He also doesn't pee in his diaper like he's scared too. and it's led me to think that they might be force potty training him or maybe hitting or yelling at him. I know that if I ask they'll deny anything if they ARE doing it in fact. Should I take him out and find another daycare or is this normal behavior and just adjusting to not being with me all the time?

I filed for child support in nov.2007 i got the appointment in january, gave them all my ex's info, (name, address, #'s, SSN) and.. i haven't heard a word since. It's been a year and absolutely nothing has happened. I called the child support office and the lady told me that the sheriff is the one that goes out to his house and that every time that they've gone, he's not home? WTF! so if he's not gonna be home every time they go, my son doesn't get dime? that's bs. what can i do so these people can do their jobs right and make him pay child support?

There's this book I read in high school, I think it was in European History but I can't remember the title or author. The only think I remember i that there's this old man that's mute and I think paralyzed and so to communicate, someone gose through the alphabet and the dictionary and he blinks when they get to the word he wants to say. I know it's not much but it's all I can remember. thanks!

I am traveling to Colombia with my 1 year old son and I went on travel.state.gov and it says that I have to have a consent form when traveling with just one parent. If I have it in english it needs to be translated into spanish for when I leave Colombia, they can read it. where do I get this consent form. Can I write it and translate it myself and have it notarized at the post office or does the notary have to write it?

I applied for child support in november of 2007 and got an appointment for January 2008 and went. I gave them al the info they need and arounf april/may I got a packet from the states sttorney office about the case and stuf and it said that the non custodial parent(my -ex) has to provide with his bank statamenets and paychecks. Do I have to do anything? Ever since I got that packet, nothing's happened. He lost his job recently. If he has no job does that mean I get no child support?

It seems like i am sweeping and mopping the floor everday and everyday there's stains and sticky stiff on the floor that I don't know where it somes from. The floor never stays clean. is there any product that repels stains or dirt or something that won't have me cleaning the floor everday.

My brother's passport expires and he wants to get it renewed but he has felonies and he's scared that they'll come up when he goes to get his passport renewed and deport him. Can he get deported or not because he's already a citizen?

An ink pen exploded inside my dryer and now the inside of my dryer is blue and will stain any clothes that I put into it. I tried bleach, acetone, rubbing alcohol, etc. the acetone and rubbing alcohol worked pretty good but them i remembered that they were flammable so i stopped just in case next time i turn the dryer on the whole thing explodes. How can I take the ink stains out without using something that's flammable?

I want to get a job at night starting at 5 pm up until about 10 but I don't want to work in a store in a mall or a supermarket or food place.
