We have a Sailfish 236CC. We are finally moving back to the east coast after 4 years near Seattle. We haven't used the boat much while in the PacNW. We use it alot in the southeast. We do a little bit of everything - in shore (red drum, trout, etc), off shore (dolphin, wahoo, tuna, etc), shrimping - you get the idea. I want to surpise my husband with some new electronics for the boat for Christmas. The electronics in it are basic models from 5-6 years ago. He currently has Garmin and Lowrance. Any ideas guys? Our fishfinder acts up alot and it drives him crazy. I want a good one! And obviously, a good GPS unit...thanks for your help! :)

My husband just got home last night from deployment on a submarine. He had his motorola droid with him, so it didn't update when 2.2 came out months ago. Its been on all day, and it keeps saying it has the latest system update. It is running on 2.1. How do we make it upgrade to 2.2?

Had a Bryant 286B installed on Monday. It has never cooled the house. The A/C company that installed it has been here everyday - they replaced TXV the second day because there was ice on the unit in the attic and outside. They had to run cold water over the outside unit because the compressor was too hot. They've recharged it everyday. I got up at 5am this morning and took pics of the ice block on the outside unit again. The owner of the company called today and said this is happening because we have too much humidity in our home. (Like this is our fault and something we can control???) This is Charleston, SC. OF COURSE there is humidity in our home. He says there is nothing else wrong with the unit and this is going to be a battle until the humidity is gone. So, my question for you a/c techs...how do I get this company to take this piece of crap off our property and give us our 7k back???

Had a Bryant 286b installed yesterday. Unit was turned on at 3pm. At 10pm the house had cooled down from 86 degrees to 85 degrees. Went to bed miserable, woke up this morning and house is 81 degrees - its 71 degrees outside! Called company that installed unit. They say this is normal and it could take another full day for house to cool off. The air flow coming from vents is much weaker than with my older unit, and it doesn't even feel that cool. Is this normal with the new Bryant units? I'm thinking the company that installed is nuts!!

We have a Samsung LED TV (Model UN55B7000). It has started powering on and off, but only while we're using the ps3. It works fine with Wii, Xbox, and cable. It also works fine with our laptop connected via the same HDMI slot. So, does anyone have any ideas on why our ps3 is making the TV power off and on?

Yeah, so I gave in this morning and took a HPT. After 5 years of trying, I just don't have much patience! I almost fell over dead when it turned positive. We transferred 3 blast's...should I trust the test???

I'm new to the pacific northwest. What is good wood for burning in an open fireplace and in a woodstove? We have some fir, but it burns so fast! I've heard madrona (spelling?) is good. Any opinions?
