  • Sims 2 Double Deluxe problems. Please help.?

    I have searched high and low for a fix on my own to no avail. I have the Sims 2 Double Deluxe with Nightlife Expansion and Open for Business. I have had no problems until 3 days ago. I have updated my driver to the latest and also my DirectX has been updated. After a few minutes of gameplay I get an error message of D3DERR NOT AVAILABLE Direct 3D returned an error and must terminate.

    I dont know what else to do. Here is the info you may need to help me.

    I have been over everything from forums to chat rooms and have tried every suggestion I have found multiple times now. I have unistalled and reinstalled multiple times and I keep getting the 3D error or restarts the coputer or walls and all sims disappear. Sometimes I can play for 2 hours other times only 5 minutes. I'm about to cry.

    I also have Castaway Stories and Life Stories and play them with no problems.

  • Any fixes to Sim Castaway Stories?

    Played all day the first day I got it with no problems. The next day it shut down my computer. Or if that isnt the problem I get an error about Direct 3D. I have updated my driver, but I still have the same problem. Anyone else have this prob. Any advice. Thanks.
