  • Why did my corn snake die?

I've had my corn snake since she was a baby. She was almost 5 years old, and she just died. She showed no visible signs of sickness, but she refused a mouse for the first time ever a week before she died. She shed just before, so I thought it was because she was shedding. She has always seemed to have labored breathing, so could it be a respiratory disease? What could have caused it? My house is kept at 80 degrees during summer, and she's always been fine. I did not change her water every day, so I feel that she perhaps caught a disease that was in the water....trust me I feel horrible about it. However there were no signs of sickness, she looked completely healthy, nothing around the mouth, nothing wrong with the scales. I'm pretty distraught, and she died when I was away travelling, so I didn't see what her behavior was exactly before she died. I was told she was just in her cave for an entire week, and then came out the final day, and was slithering around the cage.

  • I need a jewelry organizer!?

I need help finding a space-effective way to organize my jewelry! I've looked all over the Internet but most organizers only hold about 20 necklaces. I'd like them to be hanging from hooks, and I own about 60 necklaces, so it needs to hold a lot. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can make one myself that will hold that many?

  • Help with an ankle injury from ballet?

I dance ballet en pointe, and I'm not sure how it happened, but for some reason the indention behind the lateral malleolus in my foot is slightly bruised and swollen. It has been that way for 3 weeks now. I've iced it once in awhile, but nothing has seemed to make it better. It hurts badly when I flex my foot and point my foot inwards at the same time, but otherwise I can't feel it much. What type of injury is this, and is it severe enough that I need to go to the doctor, or can I just let it heal on its' own?

  • Halloween costume help!?

I have 4 different ballet costumes sitting in my closet that I can wear for Halloween. One has a red corset-style top with ruffly white, off-the shoulder bands, and long white tutu. The second is an aqua color with yellow accents on top, with a long aqua tutu, and the third is just a sparkly yellow leotard, yellow leggings, and a thin skirt over the leggings. The fourth one is brown (earth-colored) with glitter, and it is the same silhouette as the yellow one; just a leotard, leggings attached, and a thin skirt covering. Does anyone any ideas on what I could be using one of these costumes? Also makeup ideas would be good too.

  • Fake Louis Vuitton bag?

I bought a mock-up Louis Vuitton bag at a flea market. I can't convince myself 100% that it's fake though, because I looked online, and the genuine bag looks exactly alike. The patterns line up with the seams, the strap is the same, the pockets and inside fabric all match up. The only differences are that my bag has the leather, orangey-yellow lining on the front flap, and the genuine one doesn't, and the buckles holding the strap on are plastic. Everything else (the zipper, tag, and front brass logo) all look genuine. This bag was used when I bought it, which is why I'm wondering if maybe the buckles just broke off and were replaced, or something along those lines. Can anyone reassure me as to whether or not it's a genuine bag?

  • Adobe Photoshop CS5 help needed!?

I'm trying to use the CTRL + click on the layer containing my main subject to make a selection around it, but for some reason it isn't working....I've tried rearranging the background layers, but it doesn't do anything except cover up the subject, and I don't know what's wrong.

  • Can I do anything about my swayback?

I have a deep swayback, and I'm also a ballet dancer, so it makes it difficult to do certain stretches that everyone else seems to have no trouble with. It also hurts for me to straighten my back or sit up straight for any extended amount of time. I have strong abs, so I don't understand why I have problems straightening my back so much! What can I do to strengthen my lower back muscles? Is there any way to fix my posture without surgery or excessive expense?

  • Calculating my final GPA?!?

My goal is to score above a 90 in each class. So far, I've calculated out my GPA without the finals test added in. The final counts as 25% of our year-long average. How do I calculate what grade I should make in each class on the finals so that my year-long averages raise to over a 90? Ex: one of my grades is an 87, what do I need to make on the final to raise it to a 90?

  • What hairstyle would work best on me?

I'm 15 years old, I have an oval face, and long, straight brown hair. I love my hair, but I want to get it cut short. I'm wanting to get a graduated bob: http://www.gallery.becomegorgeous.com/medium_long_... but all my friends say I'm going to look like a guy and that it'll look bad on me. Would a bob work for my face shape, and would I look okay with one? If you think not, what are some other hairstyle ideas?

  • Native American's Environment?? Essay help!?

I have to write an essay about the Native Americans in the United States (the Southeast N.Americans).

I've already got that they wore deerskins, lived in chickees, ate corn, deer, birds, ect.. but I can't find what their environment was like and what landforms were around them. I'm not sure the exact time period, but wearing deerskins should tell u something about them... that it was at least earlier than 1900s.

  • water bowl??

I pulled my corn snake's waterbowl out today, and it had a bunch of flaky brown stuff at the bottom. I could sort-of scrub it out. I haven't been changing the water every day, is that why? Should I put the waterbowl through the dishwasher or just not worry about it??
