I'm getting small, random color spots in a part of the carpet in one bedroom.?
Small (less than an inch diameter) spots are forming in my two year old carpet in the guest bedroom. These spots appear to be "bleached out" areas that are not removable. They form up against the furniture, under a dresser as well as in the path. We've eliminated something (cleaner) being tracked in as they are in areas where we can't walk, they don't have the pattern from a footprint and they are not near the door. We've eliminated pet stains as they are small, random and under the furniture. There are no stains on the bed linens, furniture or ceiling so the source can't be from above. We had the carpet pulled back and there's nothing evident in the pad or the concrete floor slab. The carpet in this guest room was the best Home Depot sold as I wanted very plush carpet so I'm skeptical of a friend's suggestion of dye problems. The other guest room which has the same carpet doesn't have this condition. Does anyone have a thought or encountered a similar problem?
