I bought a used pair of hockey skates and they smell like cigarette smoke. How can I get the smell out of the outside of the skate? The material is a molded plastic and obviously I will not bleach the skates. I have had them sitting outside and put baking soda inside the skates but the plastic outer covering of the skates still smells like smoke. Thanks in advance for the advise.

I basically have done a bunch of research and all i have is statistics. But i dont know what each paragraph should contain. it needs to be 2000 words but i dont know what to write about.
