I was answering a question when i suddenly had to clarify something..

Lets say u fall in a vacuum with a weighing scale. You stand on the weighing scale during free fall.

Do you have 0kg displayed? If so why is that?

It just struck me.

If time moves slower near heavier objects, then in space time in our solar system should be Minutely faster.( minus the earth mass effect)

Then space time outside our solar system will be even faster( minus the sun mass effect)

Then space time outside the milkyway will be even faster ( minus the galaxy centre blackhole mass effect)

So if aliens can build an advanced ship that can self sustain and float in the middle of empty space between galaxies, wouldnt they be much more advanced then us although we both spend a billion years to evolve? Time will pass much faster for them, but since its relative,they wont feel different, but they have 'more time' to evolve.

Dont forget we lag by extinction periods.
