How long can a snake be handled outside of its cage?
I'm taking home a very friendly Brazilian Rainbow Boa soon. He seems to love wrapping himself all over me and seems to love being handled. How long can I safely keep him out of the cage? Am I able to take him other places such as to a friend's house for a little while and have him be okay?
1 AnswerReptiles6 years agoCan Ebola virus spread through water?
If it generally spreads through bodily fluids, and those fluids go down the drain, is it possible to end up in our water supply? Or do the chemicals in water treatment plants kill it off? (Chlorine, UV light, etc) during the tiertery phase.
3 AnswersInfectious Diseases7 years agoPainful wind rushing sound in ears?
I know that sometimes when you yawn or swallow, you get that sound of your ear tubes stretching. But for the past few months, it has been happening frequently when I blink, move my head, or especially when I turn over in bed. Its gotten to the point of being very painful and I'm not sure why. Can anyone explain this and should I go to the doctor?
4 AnswersOther - Health7 years agoFirst time playing a sport soreness?
Recently started getting into cheering and stunting this week- and I am very sore all over. So my question is, Will I have more pain (from previous soreness) if I go back to the gym right away (like the next day) and keep at it, or if I wait a few days before going back to the gym?
I'm asking out of curiosity, because sometimes if you wait too long to go back into working your body a lot, I feel like it would be just as painful as when you started. Yes, no? Thoughts? Advice to keep a beginner's soreness down?
1 AnswerOther - Sports7 years agoCheering, stunting and... gauges?
I recently became a part of a cheer/stunt team and my coach is worried about me having jewelry in my ears because they might rip my ears in case of an accident. Honestly, I think that is less likely to happen since my gauge size is fairly small, at a 2. But would it minimize the chances of it happening if I wore silicone plugs? Due to their elasticity and flexibility, I feel that they would bend with my ear if such an accident were to occur.
Thoughts? Ideas?

2 AnswersMakeup7 years agoWhat potential causes could be the reason why I am always so sick?
I know that poor diet and lack of exercise can cause a weak immune system. However, correct me if this sounds wrong, but I don't believe I have a poor diet and exercise plan. I walk home from school everyday (usually at a very fast walking pace) and that takes around 20 minutes. Other than that, I walk around my town quite often on the weekends. For my diet, I usually snack on bananas with peanut butter, or tangerines. I also drink protein shakes in the morning and eat a granola bar around lunchtime. It's not very often I'll eat a filling meal, and when I do I make sure to include a large amount of vegetables.
So tell me....what else could cause my weak immune system? If it's not strep throat one week, the next it's pneumonia. I usually am I'll about every 3 months, for a solid 2 week period. Any suggestions are much appreciated. I am visiting two different doctors concerning the same information soon.

2 AnswersOther - Skin & Body8 years agoHow do I get the string back through the hole?
I have a dress and in the middle of it there is a string and its already bunched, if that makes sense. one side of the string fell back through the hole and there's no way i can attach anything to it to grab it and since that part of the dress is already bunched together it's hard to make it move. What can I do?

2 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style8 years agois there a sims 3 cheat to make them have a normal amount of money?
for experimental purposes, i merged two of my sims that ended up looking really similar. unfortunately, i saved one of the sims after i gave him bucketloads of cash. if they both had started out with a normal amount of money, i would expect them (merged) to have about 25,000. Is there a cheat to make the amount of money they have go back to normal, or lower?
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games8 years agoMy teeth are sensitive after getting my braces off?
When I eat, my teeth feel normal and fine. But when I brush them, they really hurt, as if there were a cavity in every tooth. Is this because the area where the bracket was is just not used to full contact with the bristles of my toothbrush? Has this happened to anyone else?
2 AnswersDental8 years agoHow can I get my GPA up?
at the end of my sophomore year, I have a weighted 2.4 GPA unweighted 1.9. How far up can I get my GPA by the time I graduate? I know I have to study hard to get A's and B's, but is there anything else I can do?
3 AnswersOther - Education8 years agoKnow any super-unpredictable books?
I recently finished a masterpiece, John Green's "Looking for Alaska". It took so many twists and turns I could hardly keep up, and I loved every second of it. Many young adult / teen fictions I've read are fairly predictable, or repetitious, for example "Thirteen Reasons Why" by Jay Asher. I'm not saying it was a bad book, but I got pretty bored with it pretty quickly.
So to get to the point, if you know any books that you just couldn't put down, you needed to know what was going to happen next, and was just simply amazing/ your favorite book, let me know! I'm very interested in the stories that lie ahead waiting for me to discover them.
thanks in advance for any of your reccomendations!
4 AnswersBooks & Authors8 years agoWeird beauty traditions?
Does anybody know weird traditions that some cultures do for beauty or attention? Such as foot binding, neck rings, etc? You know, just things you would never expect someone could do to themselves.\, or that Americans think are crazy. I'm doing some research (: I also find self-mummification very intriguing. Sometimes I even think braces is a pretty crazy concept. But anyways, thanks in advance for your thoughta!
