I keep catching this girl taking videos of me at work. At first I thought she was just holding her phone perfectly at my face and taking selfies of herself. Now I m seeing her holding her phone in different positions that you can t possibly take a selfie in and it s always pointed at me. I even caught her take a peak at her screen to (what it looked like) make sure she had it pointed in the right direction. We re sitting down and working on something and I see this stuff. She s not slick about it at all. It honestly doesn t even bother me that much. It just makes me chuckle and want to make weird faces. Next time she does it and turns around again to look at her computer, I m going to mouth something straight to the camera to really freak her out when she sees it later.

It s just weird and I can t imagine why she s doing it. Is this a thing to post online and laugh about later on or something?

My girlfriend is pregnant and due on August 13th. My company has a summer outing every year and this year it's on August 2nd. My girlfriend already hates when I do anything away from her. Mind you, that rarely ever happens. Our company outings are very fun. Everybody gets pretty tipsy and has a good time. Where we're going isn't very close to home either. I'm worried about the possibility of her going into labor while I'm 45 minutes away and drinking.

I wish I could get a real opinion from her about this but she hates when I do this stuff with my work already so I'm pretty sure she doesn't want me to go and is just using the pregnancy as an excuse. Part of me thinks it is a logical reason to not go but everybody's talking about the outing at work and they all look at me like I have 3 heads when I tell them that I can't go because my girlfriend is due 11 days after the outing.

So there's this girl. We hit it off immediately but she wouldn't actually date me. We've been kinda half way talking for a couple of months. We both really like each other but she's got this ex. I've heard about him before but it's coming out now that she can't move forward with her life until she has closure with him. Major red flag for me, right?

So I'm understanding and this goes on for a while. We never really date or commit to anything because of this hang up. I finally ask her what she needs to say to him and she can't answer. I then ask her well what if he apologizes and asks for you back? She reluctantly tells me that she "would have to say yes". Wow that just blew me away. I mean, I'm an idiot. Definitely should have already seen that one coming but she keeps telling me how much she likes me.

So i call the whole thing off and say i can't be someone's second choice. She then gets mad at me and says I'm not the second choice and the fact that i think that means i don't trust her. I ask her multiple times how so but she Dodges the question every time.

Then she refused to talk anymore at all and went to sleep.

What kind of girl am i dealing with here? I feel like i got the answer i was looking for but she keeps trying to reel me back in like it's not that bad. I really think she's just trying to keep me as an open option because she doesn't think her ex will even want her back.

Right now i have 3 desktops, 2 wired, 1 wireless, a laptop that is wireless and a bunch of cellphones, tablet, blah blah blah.....

I have one of those pretty standard Motorola or arris modem/routers with 5 ports on it for my hardwired stuff and that's what I'm confused about. I'm looking at these fancy high end wifi routers that don't appear to have rj45 jacks for hardwiring anything. Do i need to buy a modem and a router or can i still use my current modem/router with another router or can you only go wireless with those things?

The zika virus has been around for what like 60 to 70 years now. All of a sudden a few months ago the mainstream media started playing it up like crazy even though it's always been a problem in its native country. Then walla! Magically it's on our front doorstep.

I'm from the Chicago area and I'm looking a fun family small town lake type experience. I really want to rent a cabin near a lake that has fun activities for kids. What I keep picturing in my head is the movie The Great Outdoors, if anybody remembers that. They're out in the wilderness yet in a small town with a lake and plenty of fun stuff to do.

Does anyone know anywhere like that that's within roughly a 3 hour drive from Chicago? The only stuff I can find online is either a very basic campground that would probably bore the hell out of kids or a massive waterpark like Wisconsin Dells that wouldn't really be much different than just staying in Chicago as far stress goes.

My 9 year old daughter has been acting strange lately. She acts up then we punish her by sending her to her room or no TV or something then I talk to her and ask her if she understands what she did wrong and she says yes then things go back to normal. I've recently realized that I don't think she ever truly understood what she did wrong and she's always felt like we're too harsh and now she thinks she's the victim of horrible parents.

Yesterday I got an email from her 3rd grade teacher saying that her and a friend were not in a particular class that they were supposed to be in. The teacher finally found them hiding in the bathroom for about 30 minutes. So my 9 year old daughter skipped class in 3rd grade. This is crazy to me. I was no outstanding kid but I never did stuff like that until High School.

Now when her mother talked to her about it, she's trying to act like it's no big deal and she's basically apologizing just because she doesn't want to hear us talk about it anymore. We took away TV and games for a week. I don't know what else to do. On one hand that punishment seems to light but on the other hand, I know that anything we do to her, she'll just play the victim and continue to feel that we're horrible parents that have no idea what we're doing.

Any advice at all would be appreciated. Is this normal at 9 years old? Have you experienced anything similar? What have you tried in similar situations?

We just got him yesterday and he's about 3 months old. I personally think he's fine but my girlfriend keeps freaking me out because his mouth is open for so long.

From what i understand they do this when they've reached their ideal temperature. My girlfriend thinks he's to hot and apparently to dumb to go to the cool side of the tank. We have a 40 gal tank with basking bulb that gets to around 95 deg on his rock and the cooler side is around 80-85.

He also seems very freaked out over his reflection in the glass. He's constantly scratching at it and chasing himself. I have a background that covers the back and sides.

I went out the other day to play catch with my 8 year old daughter which I haven't tried doing in couple of years. She really enjoyed it this time. I had to show her the correct way to throw and catch but after about ten minutes she started throwing really well. Fast, far, and even pretty accurate for her age.

Then I started thinking about signing her up on a team but quickly realized that the only thing I can find online about women's baseball was that time when those women played in the majors and a bunch of crap about women being able to play with the men now. Nothing about teams or leagues that actually play these days. Can an 8 year old girl really only play softball and not baseball?

This is barbaric! She throws overhand very well and I now I have to figure out how to teach her to do that weird underarm wind up thingy just so she can play?

Please tell me I'm wrong and there are actually plenty of female baseball leagues at least through college.

I built my own pc a few years ago. I installed a 60gb ssd which is now to small. I tried to install a 120gb ssd but something went wrong so i gave up. But ever since then my boot sequence has been screwed up. The computer runs fine as long as it stays on. It's when it restarts that it gives me a hard time.

I have an asus with the advanced boot menu with all kinds of crazy settings. I can go in and completely change the boot order which doesn't make sense to me cause doesn't it have to boot off the C drive which has my operating system? Either way when i set my C drive as the primary boot drive, my computer will never start. I have to physically pick which drive to boot off of and i believe it's my 1tb hdd that is the only one that will work.

What im thinking now is that maybe the computer knows which drive is which based on which position its plugged into in the board. If this is the case then it makes sense that it's messed up because my connections are all screwed up and i have no idea which spot my original c drove was in.

Any ideas?

It was a while ago and I can't remember if it was Germany or Paris that I was in. There was a church with a random large size rock next to it. The rock was completely random and made no logical sense as to why or how it was there. There was an interesting religious story as to why it was there but I can't remember any more than that.

I just reinstalled windows 7 onto the same ssd that it was originally on and now my other ssd no longer works. At first ever tube I tried to open it, it would freeze up. I focally decided to wipe it. Then I tried to partition it again and it wouldn't work. Now today my disk management won't even open. When I disconnect the ssd without windows 7 on it, everything works perfect. I've even tried switching out the sata cable. Is my ssd just dead?

I'm lost here. I thought I knew how to backup my computer. I've just never done it because every time I try it takes 8 hours to do. I was finally ready to give it a shot and went out and bought a 1Tb hard drive. I honestly have about 50gb of stuff to back up. All I care about are family photos and videos.

So I start the backup around 6:00pm and by 10:00pm it's still nowhere near done. I even did the pick what you want to back up thing and told it not to make system image. I get home from work the next day and it used 540gb. I selected only 50gb of stuff to backup so why did it need 540gb of space for that? Why why why??? I seriously think copy and pasting would be 10 times faster and more efficient.

Please tell me what I'm doing wrong here.

He told me that I could get the new iPhone for $20 a month added to my bill if I came over to sprint with a 2 year agreement. He said that I could even pay off the phone as quickly as I like if I don't like the payments.

Now it didn't occur to me until I left how much of a rip off this is. Last time I switched to sprint I got the 4s which was probably around $500-600 when it first came out for only $200 when I signed an agreement. It appears that promotion is now gone and their new perk is to let you make payments for the full amount of the phone. So instead of paying $200 up front, you now have to pay $600 over two years. Can this really be true? Are people seriously falling for this?

Would the average person rally rather pay $600 over two years than $200 right now? Please tell me I'm not understanding this correctly.

I've been working at a new job for just over 8 months now and I've seen this same guy driving on my route about 5 times now. I know that's not a lot but it's the reason that I remember him that's driving me nuts. Every single time he's driving on the wrong side of the road when there's no on coming traffic in order to speed around people and he blows every red light that tries to stop him.

This guy doesn't have a care in the world about anyone but himself and he's going to kill someone one day. Would the police even do anything with a tip like that?

So my girlfriend and I got into a huge fight tonight. I have a daughter but not with her and we all get along pretty well. No courts or issues of any sort are involved. My girlfriend of almost 5 years now went to a play my daughter was in with a bunch of people from my ex's side. She had a weird encounter with one of my ex's friends and felt uncomfortable. I tried to tell her that she was blowing it out of proportion and it was nothing but apparently that was very bad.

Regardless, what it came down to was she says I should constantly be thanking her for doing things with my daughter because it's a choice for her and a must for me. I say it should be a must for her to at this point but she does not see it that way.

So if you're dating someone with a kid, at what point do you finally take responsibility for that child like they were your own?

I'm trying to help out a friend of mine with making an official document. I'm good with business and HR stuff but don't really know the first thing about legal matters so I'm having a little trouble.

He is going through a divorce and just wants to do the right thing by giving his wife some extra money to help out because he missed a few mortgage payments when they were together and now she's a little behind but he doesn't want her to be able to come back later on and say that he never gave her anything for this.

I've found a billion different promissory notes or IOU examples online but EVERY single one of them pertains to loans and has details about the borrower and lender. I cannot find an example for one that is not for a loan and just paying money to someone.

Any help would be appreciated.
