Where's all the black hair gone? Anyway so some asshole saw fit to get me suspended - at least I got to 5000 points with 8% Best Answers. So here's looking to my rebirth with brown hair and let's see how things go. :) (I've deleted the Bulger question because I don't want to drop the source in it. Also people are reacting OTT already. I have an excellent source but things have a way of getting out of hand sometimes).

  • Following the Israeli bombardment of a UN school.........?

.........which has killed women, children, and the elderley - who were sheltering in designated areas meant to protect them from such bombardments - has the Israeli government just lost the moral high ground and simply become a terrorist government like say the Iraq of old or Libya?

  • Do you believe it's more likely that Elvis is alive than Ed Miliband is a natural leader?

A recent YouGov poll showed only 2% of those interviewed thought Ed Miliband is a natural leader.

But apparently 4% of people believe that Elvis is still alive - that's double the number who think Ed Miliband is a natural leader!

We can all see what the numbers seem to suggest, but do you believe it's more likely that Elvis is alive than Ed Miliband is a natural leader?

  • Do you think Ed Miliband is a great leader or a great prevaricator?

I personally do not believe Ed Miliband made a courageous decision, I actually feel he's been rather spineless myself.

My question is do you feel Miliband will make a great leader of this county? The question is /not/ do you think Cameron is a great leader, the question is do you feel Miliband will make a great leader.

(And don't give me any clap trap about him reflecting the will of the people - that is not being a leader. If the country had its way we'd have brought back hanging - doesn't mean it's right, which is why we haven't.)

  • Should Labour feel very ashamed for defeating the Government over Syria?

My thoughts are that Labour has been extremely short sighted and played to the gallery by choosing the popular option rather than the correct option. It was very telling that Milliband asked Cameron if he would come back to the House of Commons for a second vote and Cameron said No, that's it. Effectively Milliband has over played his hand, made the UK look weak and indecisive, and effectively compromised our security over many years to come. It appears too many Labour MP's have listened to too many mums who have had their soldier sons killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yes Labour has humiliated Cameron but at what cost? (And those two cabinet ministers need to be sacked immediately).

  • UK: Do you think it's time for Cameron to wake up and smell the coffee?

The e-petition website is currently down, but when it's back up go and sign the petition to remove benefits from convicted rioters.

3 men get killed in Wolverhampton, an injured man gets mugged, shop in Manchester City Centre are looted - time for water canons, rubber bullets, baton charges, and curfew, yes?

Less namby pamby tolerance and much tougher levels of policing, what do you think?

And when this is all done & dusted, police cut backs need to be halted, and the Human Rights Act needs to be repealed, yes?

  • UK: Water canons are available at 24 hours notice?

    David Cameron -

Contingency plans have been made to have water canons available at 24 hours notice.

What?! You were given 24 hours notice, 24 hours ago!

Shouldn't water canons be on the streets now? And shouldn't permanent dye be added to the water, so that whoever gets caught in the line of fire be traced later on?

Do you think Cameron's handling this, do you think he has a grip?

  • UK: Is David Cameron handling the riots crisis?

Now that the riots have spread to Manchester City Centre, do you think David Cameron is handling the riots crisis, do you think he even realises there is a crisis? Where is the tear gas, where are the water canons, where is curfew?

Do you think Cameron is handling this?

  • UK: How far does a plug socket have to be away from a water pipe and a gas pipe?

I've got a water pipe in the process of being fitted, to supply water to the washing machine and running underneath that is a gas pipe, supplying gas to a duel fuel gas/electric cooker. The pipes have been run across the wall but have not yet been connected to the appliances, they currently run short as the plumbers haven't finished yet, with the washing machine and cooker not yet arrived.

The electrician has put a plug socket right in front of the water pipe above the gas pipe (for the washing machine to be plugged into), so while the gas pipe will run underneath the plug socket no problem, the water pipe will now have to be rerouted around the plug socket.

Now while the plumbers don't have a problem rerouting the water pipe around the plug socket, they don't know have far the plug socket needs to be away from a water pipe and gas pipe. Now maybe they should know but the fact is they don't and I don't feel comfortable with having it situated where it is.

It would be problematic but not impossible to move the plug socket but regardless of my discomfort, does the socket have to be re-sited or can it actually remain where it is and it's okay for the water pipe to be rerouted and the gas pipe to remain where it is running underneath the socket?

  • Do all TRV's on the rads need DBV's if the combi has an automatic bypass?

I have plumbers who are going to fit TRV's to a system with 5 rads.

2 of the rads are Bentley Traditional TRV's that look like old style brass & black, to go on cast iron rads.

Of the other 3 standard rads, they are only fitting TRV's to just 2 of them, leaving 1 with a standard rad valve.

    1/ 4 of the 5 rads will have TRV's

2/ Only 2 of those rads with TRV's will have DBV's

3/ 1 rad will just have a standard valve

Will this cause any problems if the combi boiler has an automatic bypass itself?

  • How long after a floor has been screed can you fit a kitchen?

I know you may well be tempted to say wait as long as possible, but I need to know the minimum length of time I can get away with.

I'm not talking about fitting wooden flooring because I know you have to wait at least 5-6 weeks, but how long do you have to wait before you can fit the floor units and the appliances?

  • UK: Anyone know where you can get internal doors from, seconds with slight blemishes or imperfections (NW)?

Is there anywhere you can get some internal doors from that are seconds with slight blemishes or imperfections in the Bolton/Manchester area? You know how Pilkington's supply tiles to B&Q but they also sell their own, some of which will be seconds that haven't fired properly or whatever? Well is there anywhere that sells doors for the lounge and kitchen etc, that are cheaper because they have blemishes or imperfections (might have a dint or a slight crack), in the Bolton/Manchester area? Anyone know of anywhere?

  • With regards to Wayne Bridge's decision to pull out, what's the difference when it comes to cheating?

As one user in CE posted, "We ban drug cheats are moral cheats any different, cheating is cheating."

I don't ever remember any scandals surrounding people like Stanley Matthews, Nat Lofthouse, Tom Finney, Bobby Charlton etc. So why should modern footballers be any different? Shouldn't John Terry have been kicked out of the team and not just had his captaincy taken away.

How is it right that John Terry gets to continue to play for England, yet Wayne Bridge feels he has to withdraw? How can that possibly be right and what example does that set to the kids who look up to players?
