She is breathing fine. She swims weird tho. Upward at a 25 degree angle. And looks like she had possibly gotten injured. Her side flippers aren't as fast as the others. She has a hard time eating and it appears she cant see well. Sad tho, her male mate just swims next to her while she lays at the bottom. Any clue what's wrong with her. Ty. 20 gallon long. Neons and platys and algae eaters v Live plants. Weekly water changes. Bio wheel. Good bacteria. Prime. Flourish.

In his email he writes, "I can not unfortunately recommend you for any employment" I'm currently looking for a new job and they will be contacting him about work experience. I have worked their 10 years and its in California. Can he deny my experience if they ask, I have also heard that he cannot talk bad or good about me as well. All he can say is how long I worked there and what type of duties/task I performed etc.. am I right? Or am I screwed now that the old boss hates me, I have a feeling he is going to say im a bad guy or something... just worried?

I requested my employee file from my old work. They sent me documents but it failed to include important documents I need. They took them out cause they don't want me to have them. Hmm, isn't an employee file rightfully mine as well and can my work take out documents. I pretty much already know owners can basically do whatever they want which is BS. Just wondering if my work file can be denied if i request it formally. California

I need documents from my old work about Late Policy. Can they refuse to give them to me if I request it formally on paper. They recently fired me and they didn't follow policy what so ever. Owner was an *** and suspended me unlawfully, and during a discussion about it, I was fired. So can they refuse to give me documents that are company policy and are these docs available to the public

I got 3 dwarf puffers in a 10 gal tank with an otocinclus catfish and 3 ghost shrimp. Ever since I got them maybe 16 months ago, one was transparent looking and the other 2 were dark. The tank has 4 caves that I made from stacking stones and its fully planted. So they got their own areas and everyone is happy. Temp at 79 and filtered by a bio wheel. When I first got them the 2 dark ones showed their spots within 2 days. So I figured the transparent looking one would eventually get darker and show its spots soon. So it's been forever now, and still transparent looking. Eats well like the other 2 but is slightly smaller. So anyone know why.

I know they are probably from the 60's, Russian Olympics, What does MOCKBA mean. lot of the pins say Mockba and have pictures of buildings or people. the rest are Olympic related. Basically, I'm trying to figure how much I should sale these pins, cant find a single one on Ebay. Found the hockey one on ebay last year for 8 to 12 bucks. What should I sale them as a whole for? are some a lot more valuable than others? I'm not Russian so I can't figure this out. thanks everyone

I work in construction for a local company for 9.5 years and run a installation crew. I was recently suspended 1 day for having two many unexcused absences in a 30 day period. The company has set laws that all employees sign. They state that an unexcused absence is showing up 1 min late after start time or without 24 hr notice if ill. Also after two unexcused absences a certified letter will be mailed to notify you that any furthur occurences will result in suspension. So In the last 30 day rolling period, I was late once, my child was ill once and I was ill once. The times that my son and I were ill, I called 24 hr ahead to notify them that I would not be able to make it. So I get a call the day I called in sick and my manager says I'm suspended for having 3 late occurrences in the last 30 days. I'm like what, two of those occurences I have 24 hr notice. My manager says, that's what the boss said, you are suspended. So I try to contacts the boss and explain and be wont return my calls or text. So I miss work for no reason. Never got a certified letter on my so called second occurence. So today I'm back to work, my manager has no explanation and I have to deal with the owner. Owner happens to show up at the job site and we get a chance to talk. I explain to him how he unlawfully did not follow his own laws and rules and that I was suspended for no reason. Now I missed a day of pay cause he was upset at me. Pretty much doing whatever he wants. We then get into an argument and let our emotions take over. We argued to a point where he fired me. Now will I still be able to get unemployment?

my boss has a 30 day rolling period for unexcused absences. I was late once in 30 days. My child was sick one day and I couldn't make it to work just the other day because I was ill. So if I call in the night before then its not considered to be an unexcused absence. which I did for the two sick days. therefore, I have only been late once in last 30 days rolling period. all employee's signed a document stating that 3 or more late days in a 30 day rolling period results in suspension. the document also clearly states that if u call in the day before then its not considered an unexcused absence. also a certified letter will be sent to me after 2 late days to notify me that any further absences result in suspension. So my boss suspended me anyways and I missed a day of pay. i never got a certified letter to warn me for the future. he wouldn't return my calls to discuss the issue just avoided me. So today he shows up at the job and I ask him when are we going to talk. so I tell him you cant punish me for my child being sick or me as well. its illegal. and now I got suspended for a day that I should have been working. He then goes on to say that he is doing nothing illegal at all and he is sick of dealing with me and my child. we argue back and forth, spit names at one another then he fires me...

So basically I got fired for my child being sick and me being sick and late a few min once in a 30 day rolling period. IS THIS LEGAL. I know there are child care laws and labor laws out there that should support me. just not so sure.. And the laws and documents my boss made were not followed as well. boss pretty much is doing what he wants. worked here over 9 years.
