We're using inverse trig for most of these problems but I'm not sure how to integrate when there is an x in the numerator. What is the method for doing this?

I've been looking to buy some beats headphones and the best price I can find is at xoxo-tech.com.

It's nearly $40 cheaper than anywhere else, and they are new too. However, I am extremely suspicious as the website looks very similar to one I researched months earlier, www.tech-ball.com. The website looks like it's trying to hard to convince you to buy, and I can't find any review on the web which I also find suspicious.

Has anyone ever ordered from them? Are they a scam or legit?

I've been coding for many years, websites and programs alike. I'm adept at HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL and some Javascript. A friend recently suggested that a purchase Dreamweaver. From what I'm told it's basically a visual editor, drag and drop I assume. I'm not against sitting down and hashing out some code into my favorite text editor, but it would be nice for a change to get a basic layout set up so I can spend more time working on the dynamic coding, or finish the layout code after I have the basic layout set up.

But it's an expensive program. I'd appreciate an experienced coder just letting me know whether to stick to plain text or go or the fancy helper. Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks.

I'm working on this problem to study:

y = 4sin(2x + (pi/4)) - 1

I have amplitude, vertical shift and the period down.

Amp: 4

Period: pi

Vertical Shift: -1

I then tried to find horizontal shift. I figure since sin graphs start at 0, that my first point on the x-axis is just 0 - pi/4, or -pi/4. Then my other points just shift over, making my final point (3pi/4). One of my points is (0, 3) but that point doesn't exist on my graphing calculator.

However my graphing calculator doesn't show this. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong... can someone give me a quick rundown on finding the x-intercepts for these graphs?

I have a bunch of mirrors and a satellite dish. If I glued the mirrors to the dish (all 576 of them) could I create a solar death ray, solar furnace, or similar? Without having to manually aim them all at the same spot?

I have a problem in my book that reads:

If sin(theta) = .1, find sin(theta + pi)

I did -sin(.1) to get 5.73, then added pi, to get 8.8807, and then did sin(8.8807) to get a final answer of .1543.

The book has no examples, but it says the correct answer is -.1. How did they get this?

Hello, I've looked and looked but I can't seem to find an HTML input code that produces a box with a pre-selected while (such as 2) that the user can then click a small up and down arrow to change the value.

This is for a stat selection for a simulation. The player has ten skill points to spend and can spend them on six categories.

I could just use individual text inputs and check it with another script but I feel this looks unprofessional.

If there's no way to do it with HTML, is it possible with any other language?

The main thing with the above paragraph is whether or not I used dates right (1810) as this presentation will be oral, and the use of Españoles to mean Spaniards. If anyone can think of a better word please say so. Was I right in using the imperfect tense for this?
