On the U.S Employment Eligibility Verification form from the department of homeland security, it says the form MUST be completed before the dirst day of work but not before accepting the job offer.

I have been working through an agency for a hospital for two weeks now. We get paid every Thursday and I didnt get paid yesterday. I called the agency and they told me that I didnt complete an i9 form. My recruiter never mentioned this form before.

Now I cannot get paid until I complete that form, get it notarized and sent back....in the meantime im still on the schedule to work!!!??!! IM HERE NOW! This is crazy.... What can I do??

I have a friend...this is NOT A QUESTION FOR MYSELF. someone I know is 21 weeks preg. Which is too late for abortion in the state of Ohio.

To make things worse she was held captive tortured and raped for two weeks in P.A. She escaped went to police and the hospital they did a rape kit but still have no trace of the nasty bastard. She found out when she was 14 wks but wouldnt abort it because she thought she would go to hell if she killed it. Shes now suffering from severe ptsd from the rape. she needs help she says things like I can feel the baby raping me on the inside??

My question is what can she do at this point. I suggest adoption but then again I dont know how it feels to carry the seed of a sick sadistic man either.

This company offered me a postion in a state over starting at 20/hr. Company paid rental, company apartment paid for and all. Job fell through due to that facility's issue. I was since then offered a position even closer in my city and state. What do I make as an salary request? Considering they will not have to pay travel and living expenses do I shoot for an automatic 20/hr or 18/hr since the availability for others is lucrative here?? Help im confused!

I looked online and cant find a definite answer. Some sites say you have to be there in person and some say send in info....Im on vacation for 3 weeks, I went into the bank, withdrew cash (in Illinois), cashier and I both forgot to get my Tx D.L back. I went back up there this morning and the same cashier who waited on me told me that she had to shred (?) my D.L because of the risk of someone else getting it????

I could understand if it had been weeks before me realizing it but it was the very next day?!! So im here for 2 1/2 weeks with no identification.....anyway is it possible or do I have to go back home to do so?

First and foremost, I've never bounced a check a day in my life. When i explained to the photographer at Olan Mills that my direct deposit had got screwed up and that i needed to predate my check for Tues of next week, she explained to me that i did not need to because they would not process it until that Monday and it would not affect my account until Wed.

Well come to find out they took the payment from my account the very next day...a Friday. So i had a bounced check. My bank charged me a fee for it and I never got my photos, so i assumed that was that?! Now 7 months later they magically took 218 bucks from my account with no advance warning or anything. Can they do this to me?

I called up there to see if i could just go and get my damn pics.... they said they don't even have my pics anymore so WTF!!!

I gave birth 4 days ago to a beautiful baby girl. She was alittle over 8lbs and I did it all naturalso I was screaming like crazy.

We own a house that needs a ton of work. Well not as much now,so far ive repainted the hallways, our bedroom and our babys room (she will be here in 3 months! Yayy!). The living room and Dining room are a calm yellow with the old dark wood trim. Im have more of a modern style, but it looks nice! I ripped off the 1970's panels from the kitchen and bathroom as well. Now im confused as to what to do with the walls....put up more panel? I need some ideas because those are two really important rooms and they look so crappy right now! Ugggh! I have no clue as to what color the kitchen should be? Any creative ideas or tips??

My husband was set to deploy to Haiti when the earthquake first hit. They gave his whole company a 4 day notice of the deployment, which really threw my husband and I off considering he just returned from a 15 month deployment from Afghanistan, we just got everything settled in our apt. and I am pregnant! So we packed everything, put it in storage, gave my job a 3 day notice and just when we were ready to tell our rental company about our move, his company put the deployment on hold.

Now they dont know when they are leaving this time and I am moving back home to Ohio so that It wont be so stressful for me when or if they actually cut the orders. My question is can I switch from Tricare South to North without paying a fee?

I talked to the unhelpful reps and all they told me to is fill out the online application and submitt it. There is a 460$ fee, but the tricare we recieve now is free! Does anyone know about this????

I worked for a company in 2009 for 5 months (paid semi-monthly). I'm 22 y.o, married and filed 1 to have taxes taken out @ higher rate. I received my w2 form and was shocked that 0$ had been taken out for the 5 months i had been there. I worked 104 hrs @ 6.25/hr per check (yeah, i was being ripped off, I know...which i why i left to another agency who paid much more). I spoke with their payroll dept. and she tried to explain to me that i had not made enough money per check to have FIC taken out. Is this correct? I really don't understand this "New" policy or IRS stimulus mumbo she tried to explain to me, can anyone help?

I' m currently working at at the same facility just with another agency. I worked here for the last 4 months of 2009 and they taken out almost 400$ of FIC.

I did the tax estimator online and with the $ I made from my current agency along with that from the first agency $400 taxes taken out for the whole year, combined w/my hubby's Army income, 0 children, WE WILL DEFINITELY OWE!!! I know i should have kept my check stubs but my hubby is in the Army and we move around a lot so that paper work is packed up somewhere in storage:(

I just got my ultrasound pics and i want to email them to hubby's and my family back home. I have a cannon mp190 printer and when i press scan on the printer it scans the pic and prints it. My question is how can i get it to scan to my computer? Or did we get the cheap one that doesn't allow that? I reinstalled the disk that came with it but there is no option to scan to comp. help me pleeezzz! I've been @ this for hours

My husband and i just moved into a rental house the 6th day of this month. we paid a huge security deposit and first months rent wich totaled well over 1300.

Basically we did not have a dog when we moved in but after my husband (whos military) had to pull a 24 hr shift therefore leaving me in this big house all alone, we decided to get a dog becasue i was scared. Now the company we have allows pets as long as you pay a deposit. We just got a pit bull puppy not even a couple of days ago and the company finally came out to rekey the place and claimed they could not becasue of a "vicious animal" which is very insane and ironic since this is the sweetest dog iv'e ever had or ever met, (she won't even bark or growl)

We requested that we be there when they rekeyed the house but they took upon themselves to do it anyway without our consent. I looked in the laws and they actually have a right to do that which is ridiculous. They were all through out the house left the garage door up and basically snooping around. They gave us a 24 hour notice to get rid of the dog and pay a 200 dollar fee that i recieved after i got off of work around 6pm. Now this morning on my way out the door another notice that we have to be out by Aug 31st. No matter what.

Now we had already had plans to give our little pup to a relative who lives close by (4 hrs away) this afternoon when i got off work. My husband called the company and the bastards said it didnt matter and that we were being evicted after the 31st and that we would get our security deposit back and so on! We never kept her in the house and we have a big back yard with a big stationary dog house.

Is this really possible even if they didnt give us a full 24 hrs to comply?

I find this sooo obsurd and i called the actual owner of the property he was pissed too becasue he allows pets (any kind) and they totaly went over his head by not even giving him notice of any of this that had been going on!

Im just so lost and confused now, my husbands mad at me becasue the dog was my idea, now we are out of 1300 dollars and to top it all of ...we are going to be homeless! ......ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS WELCOME!!!

ok, so my boo is deployed and will be back next month. I told him i would get him a playstation360 and i recently began research on them.....im so confused as to which GB is the best. they have 40gb 60gb 80...120, and 160. I cannot find the simple answer online to which one is the best. I want to get the one with the most features, plays the ps2 games and the most ports. Price is not an issue, any advice/suggestions welcome.

Ok, so i went to this little rinky dink auto shop to get a noise fixed on my car. Not even a hour after i paid my money and left, my car started smoking and overheating......To make a long story short, they accidentally cracked my "bypass tube" (that's the name they told me) in attempt to repair the problem.

Now this tube is a metal pipe it is the piece that delivers the coolant to the engine it sits between the coolant jug and some other piece. This is on a 2000 chevy Cavalier. The pipe is very rusty and too thin to weld so therefore i need to order the part from the dealership.

My question is......WHAT IS THE NAME OF THAT PIECE? Any and all suggestions are welcome.
