i just got a new roommate and he keeps turning the thermostat to 82 degrees. is this normal to anyone? it literally feels like an oven in my apartment, when i opened the door there was literally a wall of heat. and any thoughts on how will this effect my energy bill? i have always keep it on 70-73 during the day and 68 or 69 at night.

ufc is so boring. in theory a cage should be better for mma than a boxing ring. no one wants to see 80% of the fight fought in the guard which is what most of the ufc are. i miss pride fc, when mma was actually entertaining. if lesnar went to affliction just to fight fedor (like liddell did in prides gp event to try and fight wanderlei) it would actually be a good fight. anyone agree?

60% of her decisions have been reversed. why would we elect someone to the supreme court when only 40% of their past rulings have followed the constitution? at first i thought it was just the republicans being difficult by speaking out so much against her but after reading the story about her ruling on the white fire fighters i found myself siding with the republicans. the numbers dont lie, she is not fit for this position.

mac is all about being unique, fun and interesting

but apple only offers computers that look all identicall in either black or white while pc's come in all types of colors shapes and sizes. shouldnt pc start making anti mac jokes?

maybe it was just the 12 years of catholic school where they constantly tried to scare the crap out of my with the idea of sin and hell. iv already dropped the idea of catholisism and christianity. but it still doesnt make since to me how you can create something from nothing. i guess ill just consider myself agnostic. does anyone else find themselves in this dilema?

i just got done with my freshman year of college at the university of arkansas and it was terrible im not going back next year the campus is run by a bunch of frat guys that try so hard to act and dress exactly like each other. i dont understand how they can get hammered drunk every night and never written up, i mean come on everyone knows what goes on at frat parties. they even have police officers at their parties watching underage kids get drunk. i wouldnt care if the college/police treated everyone like that but they will write up anyone drunk in the dorms. has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

i have a feeling that the only reason christians go to church is fear of hell instead of love for jesus. if there was no hell, church would be empty on sundays. this proves that hell is just an idea the church created to get money/power.

iv had 12 years of christian schooling yet not teacher has given me a rational answer. chances are i have already heard your answer, but maybe someone will give a somewhat logical answer i havent heard.

to me it seems there is no way their results are anywhere close to accurate. the warriors who they are studying would use their weapons much more effectively than the people they bring in to test the weapons. there are so many variables like strength and training. every episode is the same, they disagree which is the better warrior, then after every weapon they say holy crap that is a kill shot. t

democrats blame bush for economy, but deregulation caused the housing market to crash which was done before the time of bush. the only thing you can really blame bush for is the war which pretty much all of us (republicans and democrats) can agree was a big mistake. that being said, what are alternative solutions to saving the economy besides spending everything we DONT have which is the plan currently in effect
