My parents actually call me a democrat as an insult. I don't mind either party, and may even become independent. What should I say to my parents who are so biased against democrats?

I think I may have an ear infection, but the doctors office isn't open until tomorrow. The pain is almost unbareable, and I've had it for a couple days now. So should I go to the ER or could you give me some advice on how to treat it until tomorrow? I tried putting heat on it, but it makes my ear pop and hurt worse.

For the past few days I've been getting ear aches. I've had a major head cold, so I thought it might have something to do with it. Now that my cold is clearing up, my ear as swelled and it is VERY painful. Only the outside hurts, the inside itches from time to time. The pain has spread down to my jaw muscle, and it hurts me to open and close my mouth. I can't fully shut one side of my mouth because of the swelling. I feel like I've lost some hearing, and the swelling has increased to about 3 times its size. When I put heat on it, it pops and hurts more. The ear lobe isn't swollen, but the flap of what feels like cartilage closest to my face is very swollen. Please help!

I need an idea for a gift for my boyfriend. He already gave me my gift, a beautiful necklace. I can't think of something really good to get him. He's into baseball, football, basketball... pretty much any sports, and into older music. Thanks!

Well I need some ideas on some idea's for schooling my horse. We event, and are trying to get to the Novice level. We have jumped 3'9" before, but we have both lost confidence in the past few weeks due to a few falls and accidents. We are also schooling 1st level dressage.

I have access to an indoor dressage ring and jumps. We sometimes get the ring to ourselves but a lot of the time we have to share it with one or two others. He is becoming round and supple, but we need ideas to work on our jumping and lateral work :] Thanks..

Recently my boyfriend broke his leg, and was out of school for a while. I called him a couple times to see how he was doing, and he acted perfectly fine. He promised that he'd be back into school and he couldn't wait to see me. Then he finally came back, and now it seems like he's ignoring me. He didn't even say hi when I came and sat next to him, or talk to me at all. Then when I tried to strike up a convo with him, he acted really angry. It seems like he's only being like this to me, and we talked a couple days ago and everything seemed fine...

Could this just be because of the stress he's going though, should I back off or just wait it out? Please help me!

How does it make you feel when girls make the first move? The first kiss or just smaller things like holding your hand. Is there something that you feel you should always do first?

I don't get it. We aren't amazingly young, I'm 15 and he's 16. We've been friends for a long time, and always were a little flirty with each other. But now that he actually asked me out, he acts like he isn't my boyfriend at all. I'm getting a little annoyed. He talks to my friends more than me, and he won't touch me unless someone yells at him. Plus he only has a full conversation and expresses any emotion when we talk through email or online! I don't want to force him to do anything, but how can I clue him off that I want a little more attention?

I'm constantly feeling jealous of her. Whenever we go like to football games, she gets all the guys. She can go up and talk to random guys and get anyone's phone number. When she's not around, I feel more confident in myself and can talk to whoever I want. But whenever I'm just with her she complains about herself all the time, bad grades, bad hair, ugly... whatever. Even though she's so pretty.

But tons of guys flirt with her, but she rarely gets a boyfriend. Yet my confidence level has dropped so much. I don't want to loose her as a friend, but I just want to get my confidence back. Sorry if I sound really stupid, but I can't help it. What should I do??

I'm getting my haircut tomorrow. I'm 15 and getting it for school. My hair is lightish brown, and long. I have layers that have grown out and highlights that have also grown out a bit.

I want my hair to stay long. Should I dye my hair or add more highlights?

I recently purchased a nice paint horse. His name is Rio. :] We got him from an auction, no one bought the poor guy. So my dad went and got him for cheap. We have some money to spare, and we have been buying and selling a couple horses to save money for a different horse.

Rio is a sweetheart on the ground. We know that he goes buck crazy when you get on however. He's gotten away with it for a while, but we have all the time in the world to fix him. We board him with a very good trainer, who helps me do in hand work.

This horse has been all over the country. He has lived in at least 4 different states, with at least 8 different owners. He has been to auction at least 3 times. Now I think he has some trust issues.

Our first step is a month of in-hand work and trust exercises. I'm out to the barn almost all day, and I need some exercises to build trust. Also to build a little muscle. Any fun tricks or games? Websites? I have all the time in the world.
