My cat often loves to catch bugs, and tonight, she jumped up really high to catch one and landed harshly on her hind legs. Now she is limping and howling. Farren is normally a vocal cat, so the whole stereotype of cats not being vocal about pain unless it's really bad doesn't exactly apply to her. My mom who was a very tech examined her leg and it seems like her hip is bothering her the most. It doesn't seem dislocated. I often dislocate my own joints, so I know what to look for when it comes to that. At the moment, she is applying a small amount of pressure on that leg but she's howling when she does that. She had hurt that same leg when she was kitten. Should I bother with taking her to my vet if it's just a strain, or should I take her just to be safe?

Okay, so this guy i really like (and he likes me), held my hand in the car coming home from a canoe trip for youth group. He started to rub my thumb, and to be completely honest, his hands were really soft for a Carpenter's hand. It gave me butterflies and I kinda liked it. But do most guys do this, and why?

I was watching my best friend and her boyfriend hold hands, and he did the same to her, so I was guessing that it might be normal, but we aren't normal sorts of people if anyone gets what i'm talking about.

Another thing, I called him about this and he tried to explain why guys do this, he said that it's almost like a statement of 'I'm here for you and I love you.' But it still didn't give me a good enough explanation for this. If anyone could tell me why he does this, or any guy for that fact, please reply.
