Non-Catholic Christians, what do you believe happens to the soul after death?
As a Catholic, who believes in the existence of God, and of the spiritual realm, I believe that when the person dies, the soul, which is a spirit, is separated from the body, and continues to live in the spiritual realm. The soul remains alive, because a spirit cannot die.
I know that Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the soul sleeps after death, but what do other non-Catholic Christians believe?
Thanks for all respectful answers.

...how do you think the universe came into existence? (only 2 other options possible):
1. It spontaneously came into existence without a cause, or
2. It created itself.
