I'm writing a story where the main character is trying to dupe his antagonist by pretending to be blind, I'm wondering if there's any way they could effectively blind themselves for a short period without any serious or long term side effects.

I was trying to do some research on this but haven't had any success. I am afraid of sleep. When I feel tired and know I should rest fear rises up inside of me and I mope around feeling like **** but desperate to not fall asleep.

I'm not afraid of having a heart attack while sleeping. I'm not afraid of having an aneurism while sleeping. I'm really afraid of anything occuring while I sleep I'm just afraid of sleep itself.

I know it's illegal to without authorization stream a video on the internet and also illegal to make an unauthorized copy of a video, but is the watching of that video, streamed on the internet, a crime itself?

Making it seems like complete crap. I'm more of one to believe in discovering it or rediscovering it, but can't figure out how to do so for myself.

do we have any less choice in our daily lives than do people who have a king or queen as opposed to a president or prime minister? It seems to me that there is this belief that if you have a king he'll be telling you what your job is going to be but I can't imagine that having ever been a successful mode of operation for such a ruler.
