I mean, whether you're Republican, Democrat, or Independent, don't you think we should show respect to the person in the office? I'm certainly not saying you agree, or even should agree with all decisions, polcies, etc, but I mean out and out nasty comments. I see hateful signs, bumper stickers, and it's not just Bush, but when Clinton was in the office too.

I just seems like so many people don't just disagree, they get rude and nasty. Are we more uncivilized and less tolerant of others opinions than we used to be? Do we, should we, accept similar behavior from non-Americans? Is this freedom of speech or intolerance?

I'm not interested in your political views so much as your thoughts on how the anger and hate is projected towards our Presidents. Is that acceptable to you no matter who is in the office?
