I'll be 16 and a half in April but I've been mistaken as a 12-14 year old. I think it's because I'm at most 5 feet tall and don't wear make up like the other girls my age. Will that affect my ability to be hired? Are there ways to look older? However, I've been told that by the time I start talking, people realize I'm a lot older than what I look. I'm also just looking for a standard job that most teenagers get: grocery store cashier or working at an ice cream place or pizza place.

My mom and I tend to butt heads a lot when it comes to me and my boyfriend.She doesn't like the fact that I have a boyfriend but she grew up differently than i did, in a completely different kind of culture and a way stricter family.She didn't have her first boyfriend til she was 18 and I finally had a real boyfriend when I was almost 14.I'm glad she actually lets me have a boyfriend but she constantly freaks out if we're hugging each other too much or sitting too closely too each other. I'm not even allowed to kiss him.I've done more than kiss my boyfriends without her knowledge, but nothing too extreme.

Right now I'm dating this amazing guy.He's 16 and I'm 15 and we've been dating for 6 months.We never fight and he is super respectful to my family so there's no reason for them to dislike him.We don't go out places other than each others houses or to the movies with friends. My mom can never trust me.When he's at my house she pays my 12 year old brother to watch me (she always has since my 1st boyfriend) and the first few times I was at his house she kept calling. I can't be close to my boyfriend at all and when I am she makes me feel like crap about it saying he doesn't want me that close (when he actually likes it). I understand she's worried but sometimes its a little too much.

Yesterday my brother caught me giving my boyfriend an innocent kiss on the cheek.He told my mom and now i'm never allowed to go to his house. On another occasion when she dropped me off at his house she thought she saw us kiss hello or something and she wouldn't leave his house until I explained what it was.I can never catch a break with her.

I'm a straight A student with absolutely no behavior problems at school and I'm smarter than to just have sex now in high school.Maybe i've done somethings that weren't very smart but I didn't think they were a big deal. She knows I've already had my first kiss and I tell my mom 99% of what's going on in my life.

What do you think about all of this? I'm just so frustrated that my mom wants to think i'm 8 years old when i'm 15.

My friend who is visiting Germany right now for 2 weeks said he would send me a postcard from there everyday, so now im wondering how long would it take for it to get here.

"Exponential functions are used on a daily basis in numerous different professions. Your assignment is to find at least 3 professions that use any form of exponential function in their day to day operations. Explain the profession, how exponential functions are used, and how basic Algebraic functions we are learning now could be utilized by one seeking to enter that profession."

So that's what i have to do. If you can help find 3 jobs that use that stuff and how they use it that would be awesome! thank you so much!

i'm not really sure what to get my boyfriend for christmas. we're both teenagers and we've been dating for a little over 3 months. we're not exchanging presents until we get back from christmas break cause he's out of town with family so there's no rush yet. he told me a list of sports teams he likes so i'm going to get him something sports related. he likes celtics, patriots, duke, revolution, and the red sox. i really want to get him something cute so i was thinking maybe a teddy bear thats wearing a sweater with one of those teams but i dont know. I really want to get him something nice cause he's already said how much im going to love the present he got me. ok i have dish network satellite. I want to connect my wii/dvd player to the tv but i'm not sure how. i know i have to plug in the red,white,and yellow wires in the tv but when i try to get the wii screen on it won't come up. like when i had direct tv all i had to do was press TV INPUT. is there a certain button on the dish network remote i have to press? i appreciate all the help i can get.

I want to make a powerpoint for my mom with pictures and with the song "The Best Day" by Taylor Swift. I know how to put pictures but how do I put that song. I want it to play through the whole show. I know I have to put the song/sound clip in my music file but I don't know how to put it in my music file. So please help. I'd appreciate it a lot cause I'm determined to make this for my mom. Oh if you could just go step by step on how I put it in my file and how to put it on the show and how to make it last the whole show. And do i have to go to some website to get the sound clip?

well my good guy friend had this "great" girlfriend. i think she was ok but i think she just took him for granted and the sad thing is he LOVED her and obviously she didn't feel the same way.

she told him that she liked this other guy too but liked him (my friend, the guy she broke up with) more. and that she needed time off.

so he's miserable and i want to be a great friend and cheer him up but i don't know what to say. another problem is that i like him but he doesn't know it. and even now with him being single i can't be happy cause i just want to see him smile and he is really sad.

so i'm going to be the good friend first and comfort him. can someone tell me good things to say.

ok for my birthday coming up i want to have a margarita party with a few close friends. i'm turning 13 so i thought it would be cool. of course i can't legally drink any alchohol but i want something close to a margarita or a martini sort of thing.

I've known this guy since last summer but we didn't talk at all during the school year cause we go to different schools and now we r both back at the same summer camp and i feel like i really like him. i had feelings for him during the end of last summer but i never let it go anywhere farther than "i think he's kind of cute". Now we hang out and talk again more than last year and part of that is cause of me always wanting to be around him but not in a clingy way. i was thinking of writing a note to him asking if he liked me or having my little 10 year old brother ask him since they r good friends. i know a lot of u r going to say "well than he'll think u r immature and blah blah blah" but i'm older than him. i'm 12 turning 13 in october and he's 11 turning 12 idk when. he's really cool for his age and everything. i like him but i don't know if he likes me. asking him directly is really an option for me. and i don't think if i give him a note he'll show everyone cause then he knows

after staring at my one eyed moster ( TV) and seeing so many commercials i felt like asking this question.

i really, really don't like those Amica commercials. they get so annyoing when they're on every commercial break.

what is so wrong with being yourself? why do people have to act a different way or certain way when they are around certain people? like when you are around friends isn't better to just be yourself. or when your around your boyfriend or girlfriend why must people act like someone they're not? i'm asking all this just to get some insight on why my friend does this. she used to be an awesome person who didn't care about what other people thought of her, peer pressure would never get to her, and one thing she knew best was that boyfriends come and go but friends are forever. now it seems like she doesn't even care.

if u are why? what do they do to make u feel embarrassed? if u aren't explain. i'll tell u what i think later.
