i just got a ps3 and im trying to connect wirelessly to my 2wire modem/router. i selected wep and then i entered my password and it says the characters i entered are not valid. but i know i entered the right password

I am transferring from a community college to the local university in the fall.

The local university does not have the best reputation, US News and world reports ranks it as a tier 4 school. I am just not ready to leave my disabled mother.

I have a fairly decent transcript and am pretty much an ideal transfer student. I have a 3.55 GPA and will have completed 60 hours at the time of my transfer. I feel as though i could get into better schools, but can not leave the city at this time.

I know graduate school is pretty competitive and was just wondering if i was applying to a teir 1 graduate school having graduated from a tier 4 under graduate would it make getting in more difficult?

I plan on complete and undergraduate honors thesis, which will award me with honors in major. I know that will help a bit, but i am really worried. There are only about 12 schools with the specialization i want, and only about 5 i would even consider going to.

I don't want to get stuck not being able to specialize in my desired field because i chose a school that is mediocre.

So i have to write to essays 500 words or less for a scholarship.

The topics are:

"Name a person you admire, and describe why you admire such person. What qualities in yourself would you most like to see flourish and what qualities would you like to see whither in order to emulate your role model?"

So i don't really have a role model and i want to do someone i personally know because i think they are asking more about me than the role model. I was thinking about my dead uncle who i never met, but im not sure how that would fly. Especially if i throw in the gay card.

Then i thought about writing about my cousin who i don't want to be anything like. Would that work? Is it inappropriate for the topic?

I 20 years old, and currently have 3 credit cards. I have a total avaliable credit (all three cards combined) of $7600.00

I have never missed a payment, or paid late, i did go over my limit once, but at the time my available credit was only 300. I pay my credit card bills every paycheck, so twice a month. I usually pay the billing cycle off in fulle every month. If a little is carried forward i take care of it the next month.

Right now i only have current charges on all 3 accounts. I want to cancel my chase freedom card, because they refuse to increase my credit limit it is a meesly $600 and charge me 25% financing.

My only question is, that is the card i have had the longest, i have had it for about 15 or 16 months now. I have only had my other cards for less than 6 months.

If i close the account will it significantly hurt my credit score? If so when would be a better time to close it?

This is my first time filling out the FASFA because i knew it would be a pain, and i attended community college which is cheap so i paid out of pocket. Now i am transferring to the local university, and the people in the financial aid office are so unhelpful.

My problem is that i am classified as a dependent student, so i have to submit my parents tax information as well as my own. My mother is my only living parent, and she had no income, so she does not file a return. I do not support her, my aunt supports her.

When i spoke to the financial aid office, they said to just put zero when it asks for her income. The form also asks all kinds of questions about the deductions she took, and what form she filed, and what dependents she claimed, etc. I cant answer those types of questions.

I fear if i leave them blank my application will be deemed incomplete. I really need this assistance, because i support myself, and can not afford tuition.

What should i do?

I am finally getting around to filling my 06 returns(i did file an extension).

The family wants to claim and blah blah blah so i need to get it done before they do theirs so i can claim myself.

Anyways. Im am filling out the 1040 ez because well its easy. Side question i did spend like 600 bucks in tuituion that year but im not sure if it is worth the extra hassle to do the 1040a any suggestions?

there is no way i should owe money! let alone more money than i even made! am i doing something wrong here?!!

I was reading about the university of Melbourne. and they have a point system. could any break that down into credits for me? I mean here i know you need 60 hours.

If i got a masters degree there would the credits likely transfer back to an american university to go towards a Phd?

I live in texas and i am re writing the family business what we refer to as company policy. We are family run, so we don't have a ton of HR resources. I have found a few helpful websites but they all tend to use those terms interchangably. Is there a different if so what is it? Could i include it all in one document, or does it need to be seperated?

Once the employee has read the comapny policy, employee hand book, company procedures do i legally have to give them a copy of the material?

I am a very natural girl. i don't shave my legs, and well im tired of shaving my armpits. The problem is that sometimes when the deodorant wears off i get super smelly. Then i will bathe, over and over and scrub, but the smell is like stuck in my armpit hair! So i eventually shave it off, and the smell goes away. How do i get that smell out of the hair with out shaving it off?

I feel terrible because i am usually the first person who will tell someone to do their own homework. The thing is that i have a final in a few hours and my government teacher gave us this long worksheet of local government positions and we had to research the names of the people in certain positions.

You would think with studying for the final, and completing a research paper for one class would be sufficient without all of this busy work.

Anyways this is the only one i can't find. Does anyone know?

At work they just added a new policy. It says that if you are so many minutes late that they will change your base pay for that week. It is gradual. 10 - 20 minutes 15 cents and so on until you reach an hour when they will only pay minimum wage. this is cumulative. so if you work 6 days a week, and are 10 minutes late each day. which equals a total of being late for an hour for the week. they would take my 15 dollars an hour and cut me to minimum wage whatever it is 6.55 or something. is that legal? I am in texas...i know laws are different in different places.

I would like to purchase a high capcity mp3 player. I was looking at the archos 605 wifi, but i honestly only need something that will play music. i do not need anything that fancy. Just a lot of space, i am tired of using mp3 cds in the car!!!

is there any type of no name brand mp3 player i can get that has at least 120 storage. i really would prefer 160 to give me a little growing room if not more.

i have also seen something that is like the player without the hard drive. would it be hard to install something like that?

I am saving up for a new truck, i want to go diesel for sure. Way better than gas. The thing is i really like the body of older trucks. I know if i buy an older truck i will have to put some work into it, but that is fine with me. Also is it possible to take the body of a gas powered truck and convert it to diesel or would that be ridiculously over priced?

for the last 6 months i keep having these same types of dreams. their not always exactly the same, but essentially i see my ex somewhere, and start running after her, trying to talk to her. but she never sees me. then sometimes she disappears and i begin looking all over for her!!! it's always me chasing her, looking for her. and its driving me insane. i mean we have been broken up for two years!!! we were together for about 3 years, and really good freinds before that, for forever. but i mean i am over it, i have been over it. shes over it. its all in the past. but why the hell do i keep looking for her in my dreams!?
