i just started golfing this year, ive been using a cheap set of beginner clubs my dad got from Dick's and i shot in the high-mid 80s. Im getting new clubs for christmas the Callaway Razr x irons (which i tried out at the local golf shop and i absolutely loved them) The ball absolutely flew with these things. NOW, i was wondering what do i need to shoot/ what i can expect to shoot to make the JV Golf team for my highschool? THANKS!!

I'm 15 going into sophomore year. This is my first summer playing golf and I want to try out for my team next year. I started out shooting in the high 90s now I'm in the high 80s, my handicap is 15. Do you think I have a shot to make the team? (Its not until next spring so I have time to improve) thanks!

im 15 years old and this is my first summer playing golf and i love it! when i go out to play 18 i normally par around 7 holes and i shot high 80s. i normally struggle with aiming my irons and i was wondering if anyone had any tips for me, thanks!

im 15 and im going to be a sophomore next year. This is my first summer playing golf, i've been out like 20 times and i shoot in the mid to high 80s. Given the fact that ive never been in junior golf and im just figuring out my game i like to think im alright. Next year i will be trying out for my schools golf team and probably junior golf so i hope by the end of it ill be able to shoot in the mid-high 70s. I really want to carry this into college and maybe if somehow i become really good and really consistent i could join like a small golf tour. i would like your feedback on what you think i'd have to do to accomplish these things, THANKS!

How much distance gain i gain with newer clubs?

now this is my first summer playing golf and my best 18 hole round is 86(not that good) but i feel like thats pretty good considering im using a beginner set(cost 300$) here are my stats

Driver: 215-260, 3-wood: 200, 5 iron: 180, 6 iron: 160, 7 iron: 150, 8 iron: 135, 9 iron: 120, PW:100

now how much do you think i could gain by getting a good set of clubs? Thanks!
