Car doesn't start?
The car in question is a 1995 Opel Astra F 1.4 petrol, with a LPG kit.,
I had both the timing and fan belts changed yesterday.Today I got in the car, started it and let it run for 20-25 minutes maybe. It was cold and I left the engine running and the heater on while I was cleaning the snow.I switched from petrol to gas a couple of times. No warning lights,no problem. Then I switched from gas to petrol and it died.Turned the ignition on - nothing. The started didn't turn.Opened the hood to check for a disconnected cable, but all looked OK.Turned the key again and the started did turn, but only for a second.I did this 2-3 times with no success. The battery waring light is not on.Maybe I should try to push-start it.

2 AnswersBeer, Wine & Spirits8 years agoSecond hand Fiat (Punto diesel) a good idea?
I know Fiats have a reputation of unreliability, but does any of you have experience with second hand Fiats?I've heard a lot of bad things, but still,I want a Punto.
One of the offers I think about is a 2001 1.9 diesel with 70 000km/43 000 miles on the clock (the actual milage is I guess 150 000+ km).Would you buy, have you bought such a car?

1 AnswerProgramming & Design9 years agoHow to deal with a person with dementia.Experience?
Long story short my grandfather, who has dementia,is coming to live with us.His condition has really gotten worse in the last 2-3 years and he is at a point where he doesn't remember anything, but events from 40-50 years ago.He doesn't recognize his daughters, wife and grandchildren. He doesn't remember where he lives or the fact that that was his house. He doesn't remember what he said or did a minute ago and so on.I spent around a month with him this summer, which was pretty nerve-racking and absolutely exhausting and I don't think I can live with him to be honest. He is suspicious, acussing people of stealing his belongings and atleast in his house he thought of me as of an intruder.I know people with this condition only get worse, even more so when they change their enviroment (plus he has lived in a house with a yard all his life and is now coming to a big city and is going to live in a 90m2 apartment.) Can anyone share their experience and advice, because I have no idea what I'm going to do.
Thanks.

2 AnswersPsychology9 years agoPC doesn't recognize camera set to "PC connection". Rebel XT/350D and remote shooting?
I can easily connect the camera and download photos in "PTP/Print" connection mode, but when I switch to "PC connection",my computer says that the camera is a new hardware and requires drivers.I tried to install new drivers from Canon's website, but it didn't work, because there was an error with installation (missing "strings").My main issue is trying to shoot from my PC with some kind of software.I couldn't install EOS Capture because of the same string error and Remote Capture won't work because the camera has to be set to "PC connection" in order to shoot.I got a trial version of DSLR Remote Pro,but have the same problem - won't work in PTP/Print mode, won't connect to camera in PC connection mode set on the Canon. So how can shoot from my PC?

1 AnswerPhotography9 years agoPolluted city air makes running harder?
I've been living a big city all my life, but spent the last month or so in a rural area. There I went on couple of runs, not too long or at a fast pace, just jogging and the occasional sprint. There I ran like this: 5 min running,1 min walking - repeating the cycle 4-5 times and had no problems.I am a complete beginner and my cardio is bad to begin with, but going back to the city I noticed that here I get exhausted much quicker. The temperature is about the same as it was in the village, the humidity seems about the same, the terrain is better -sidewalks compared to compacted dirt and coarse gravel + potholes.I haven't gotten out of shape, cause I wasn't in shape in the first place. So could it be the air?
