  • How is drafting a big rig dangerous?

Saw this on Mythbusters, and they kept saying how dangerous it is. I don't see how doing that is any more dangerous than being behind an SUV. If anything it is less dangerous, as long as you're not too close, 40-50 feet behind.

I can see being in the big rig's blind spot off to the sides or in front of it can be dangerous, but if you're behind the big rig, the only way you'd get in trouble is if the big rig hit a wall and stop immediately. Other than that, I don't see how a 50,000 lbs truck can stop quicker than you can.

  • Behind the head strikes in MMA?

Now in most fighting sports this is illegal.

GSP vs Matt Hughes, their second fight I believe, St. Pierre had taken Hughes to the ground. GSP had full mount on Hughes, Hughes got his arms locked around GSP's back. Then GSP started lifting his body up and slamming Hughes back onto the mat. Now why were those slams not count as strikes to the back of the head?

  • Team Handball, what's with that name?

Why is it called "team" handball, it's not like there's an "individual" handball. At least not that I know of, or is there?

  • What would happen if Shawn Johnson train like the Chinese girls?

Now, here's a surprise. Shawn Johnson goes to a public school, only trains 4 hours a day, and she's whooping everybody's butts most of the time. Don't you wonder what would happen if she really dedicated her life to gymnastics? Would she burn out and not do so well, or will she be the Michael Phelps of Gymnastics?

  • So much hatred in Y!A?

Wow, this is the first time I'm reading and answering questions on Y!A during the Olympics. Has there always been this much fighting in here? Or is this Olympics "special" for some reason?

  • Actors reprising their role on TV?

Here's one, do you know of any actor/actress, who played the same character in a TV adaptation of a movie? So for example if Linda Hamilton were to play as Sarah Connor in the new Terminator TV series, which of course she doesn't.

  • Where is the condemnation?

I'm not a muslim, so I'm always wondering. Whenever there's something done to Islam by a non muslim, the Imams were all up in arms. The Danish cartoon, the teddy bear incident etc. Uproar, and everyone is willing to kill the offender.

Why is it that when some terrorist claim to do things in the name of Islam that they are quiet? Not a single peep from anywhere condemning the attack. Aren't these terrorist making you look worse than a teddy bear named "Mohammed"? do your local Imam call for peace and preach for calm when these happen?
