First god makes 2 people, and they turn against him, they leave and start civilization. Soon after things go so wrong for him that god has to wipe out humanity and start over with just one small family and alot of inbreeding. Soon after that god then has to break up humanity and turn people against each other at the tower of Babel. And that is just in the first book. Could this all powerful and omniscient being screw up that badly.

Honestly I can't imagine most of these people really believe in god....maybe people from 3rd world countries, or the very poor who couldn't afford schooling, but you'd have to assume that people from western civilizations actually know better but are just following along with tradition.

Here is an example of a lizard changing from laying eggs to giving live birth. This is clearly changing from one species to another. And no doubt how live birth came about originally
