1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 decade agoOK for a DOG to jump after foot surgury?
ok, so in novemeber, nov.23 to be exact, my 7-year old mini poodle fell down the stairs and broke her foot. she's an amazing agilty dog when it comes to jumping. but she broke her foot in 4 places, and to fix it, they put in 4 little wires in her hind foot. she got her cast off about a month ago, and she's been showing many good signs about being able to jump again. the vet thought she would never be able to jump again because she probably wouldn't even be able to run again. but, even with the cast one, when we brought Angel home, she jumped on my bed. without being in any pain. i was so happy! so anyway, very slowly, i've been training her to jump again. i just uploaded six vids to youtube with her jumping. the ones inside were from last week. the ones outside were from today. please comment on here or on the vid in youtube.
BTW, i think the only reason why this worked, was because before she fell, the summer before that, i wanted to make sure if she ever hurt her leg, she could still move, so i took an ace bandage, tired up her legs, one at a time, and had her train with going around on 3 legs. lol. its a good thing i did too i guess.
i recommend you see these in order.

7 AnswersCats1 decade agoI had a Dream I got in a horse carriage accident two nights ago, and then it happened. whats does that mean?
im fine, but its so weird. i dreamed this would happen, and it did. the same exact way. my horse trips on a hole covered in mud, freaked out, the carrage got stuck in the mud, scaring the horse more, then the carriage fell over, and the horse stepped on my foot. i ended up just badly spraining it, but it was just like my dream. and then, i had a dream while napping, that my couisin who lives in Irasel was coming to see me because her friend died, and she wanted to be near me, (we're like sisters/bffs) because she also knew i was hurt. and that happened right after i woke up. what could this mean?

2 AnswersRespiratory Diseases1 decade agoHow much would this coin be worth?
it's from 1865. found it in my backyard. the old, owner of the proptery owned the house in front of my house. where i live, i learned, was his summer cabin or something. he was supposly born in 1820's. when he died, they named my street after him. they had to knock down his house, and summer house, and rebuild on top of it, cause it was a hazard.
the coin, on one side, says:
*united states of america* One Dollar* with an eagle, that is somewhat faded, and looks different then the ones we have now, in numerous ways.
the othe side:
A picture of a woman, (i believe is perhaps Statue of liberty, but i dont know whenamercia got the real statue of here. it may be a prototype of her, it says:E. Pluribus and then, what looks like, 'unum', however,i believe due to the years that went by, some of the letters must've faded, so it may have said something else.
how much do u believe its worth?
also it say's it's from 1865
2 AnswersEconomics1 decade ago6 months. horse hates me. i spoil him. help!?
i bought this beautiful paint gelding on Octerber 15, 2008.
and i love him so much! i try to love him, and get him to like me in return. but he hates me. he tries to bite, kick, pinns his ears, everything when i go see him. the minute his senses i have the bridle in my hand, he turn his butt toward me, and tries to kick me. if i try to lunge him, he hate me, but trying to kick, or rear up. if i go into his stall to brush him, he tries to bite me. what can i do? we just had the vet come the other day. i asked about his medical issues, and if that'swhy he's being so mean. the vet said, after he got the test results, nothing showed up. and when i ride him, he won't listen to me at all. he'll only walk, as if he's a 43 year old horse, and broke his legs. when anothe person does, he goes as fast as can be!
When i first got him, he was a trail horse. and when i rode him outside, he listened perfectly! when it got colder, and i couldn't ride outside any more, that's when the trouble started happening. do u think he's grouchy because he can't be outside? please help! I'm desperate!!!!
11 AnswersHorses1 decade agoUh Oh. This is a bad toothache.?
Ok, today at school, i finally lost my last baby tooth. the doc said 3 days ago, that it was just beggining to be loose. i never wriggled it. i'm 2 old for that. but 2day, we were praticing for a play comeing up, and the TEACHERS were acting. it was pretty funny, but the songs were lame. during one song, i was bored, so absent mindingly, i started to wriggle it. and i felt it jump up from the gums, and i knew, if i give it anothertug, it would come out. so i asked my hme room teacher if i could go to the bathroom. she let me, and in there, i yanked it,(it didn't hurt, surprisingly) and it came out. but it feels like there's still some tooth in there. and the tooth loos lik it was broken when it came out. and so i went to the nurse, and she said it was fine. i haven't lost a tooth in over 4 years, so i don't remember what it feels like to lose one. it's weird to feel that empty space.. but....
i felt it, and i could feel a little bit of a tooth. and i knew it wasn't the new tooth. so do you think i might have broken my tooth when i pulled it out? and it hurts a bit.
2 AnswersDental1 decade agomy horse keeps on acting up? why?
Ok, so last night, i went to the barn to go see my horse, Ray Ray, i can't ride him un-supervised(my instructor has to be there) because he'll try to buck me off, and she's just monitering me for a week. then i can start riding by myself again. so i went to go let him loose in the ring. and when i was walking him down the aisle, he tried to take off 3 times, and he tried to bit me. everytime he did i smacked him on the nose, then i brought him back to his stall as a little time-out, and in his stall, he tried to roll. realizing he couldn't, he stood up, and though a hissy fit. bucked, kicked, small rears, showing his teeth to me, ears flat on his head.... finally, he calmed down, and i took the leadrope that had a chain on it(for extra saftey) and i took him into the ring. he has a little problem when he's about to run free. he wants to roll. and so, still holdin the lead rope, i closed the arena's doors, had him walk toward me, and i leaned over the rail to take it off. at that moment, he seemed spooked, at something, he bolted toward the right, then to the left. when he went to the left, he yanked the rope out of my hands, and took off. i was kinda scared because a horse with it's rope on, galloping, could injure his leg that way, so i called the stable hand, who's like an uncle to me, and the barn owner, who's a professinal horse rider/trainer. she's more like a distant relative. they both went in the ring, and i stayed out of the ring(my instructor, who is the barn owners neice, said don't go in there with my horse because he gets super tempramental) and the barn owner, who was trying to stop him by putting her arms out straight, she actully had to jump out of the way because Ray Ray wouldn't stop for anything it seemed. finally, the stablehand, got some oats, and Ray smelled it, and came over so he could take it off. then they both ran out of the ring.
Anyone know why he keeps on acting up? he shouldn't have had that much energy, considering the fact he was ridden for the past 3 days.
15 AnswersHorses1 decade agopeople who own horses?
that are quarter horses, or tb's. are they moody? or have to use a withers pad? because it seems to me, that everywhere i look, people that ride english, and own these 2 breeds, that they are moody, and use a withers pad. including my horse, and i was wondering what techniques can i use when he tries to buck me off after i ask him to walk after he stops dead.
18 AnswersHorses1 decade agoMy horses spooking problem...... help?
today, i was riding my boy Raisin (Ray Ray) at a canter in the big show ring (indoor)There was another lesson going on at the other end, and my real instructor wasn't there, but the lesson at the other end was being taught by an instructor who was like a sister to me, and helped me with Ray Ray alot. and Ray Ray,he can be spooked by his own shadow(literally. he's very young, and not completely trained) and i wasn't in a lesson, just excriesing and training him to leg yeild. and he got scared of something, and he totally galloped(race horse kind. did you know a QH can beat a TB in a race that's a quarter of a mile? Hence the name, Quarter horse.) Anyway, he nearly ran over 10 little kids on horses, because he was running SIDEWAYS across the ring, and i had to turn him towards the wall to ge him to stop, and he was going so fast, and stopped so suddenly, went flying over his head, and landed in the soft, cusiony, velvet bleachers.(thank goodness they're made of velvet, and not steel!) So, i had an exciting night. does you're horse spook? were you ever on a horse that spooked? What happened?
Also, is there any othe way to get him to stop when he spooks? besides a pelham, that's too severe for him, and the only time, i used it, and the last time, it made him so grumpy, i got down to take it off, but it looked like he was bleeding. i sat deep in the saddle, did quick pull and releases, said "Whoa, and halt!" but i still ended up steering him into the wall as my last resort.... help?

i have an 11 year old white, fluffy, female cat. Named Snowball. Not sure of the breed. i got her when i was 6, and she was just a little tiny kitten. now she rules the house. but, lately i noticed, she has been laying down more and more, and ithink she might die. she never finishes all her food, after maybe demolishing 1 1/2 of a 4th of it, she'll go back into her hut(bed) if she is going to die, i want to be prepared for it. please tell me if she might be dying! i really need to know! i don't want to come home one night, and find her dead on my bed! that would be to shocking. if i'm prepared, maybe it won't be as bad!

1 AnswerOther - Diseases1 decade agoStubborn horse+Lyme disease? Related?
i own a QH/TB/Paint cross, and we recently found out, he has Lyme disease. it's the highest point of the lowest level. they say it comes with moodiness. and when i ride him, like after a fence, he stops dead. and no matter what i do, i can't get him to walk, unless i have to use a whip(i hate using whips, i feel so sad that i have to actually smack a horse on his butt with i, because i always think it hurts them) and when i smack him on a butt he just does a tiny little dance in place thing. then, i smack him again, while kicking him, and yelling walk, and clicking to him all at the same time, he attempts to buck me off. and i've been riding since 1 1/2, and i'm now 19 years old, and i have no idea what to do now. even my trainer can't get him to go. and since he has the moodiness, does that mean i might need to live with this forever? he's 5, so can i train him out of it? please help! also, he's afraid of the mounting block. and i can't get a leg up, because he's like 17.1 H.H., and his back his about 11 in. taller than my head!
4 AnswersHorses1 decade agoShow help! URGENT! (Show is monday, jan, 5, 09)?
ok, i'm a really experienced horse rider, and i have over 30+ first place ribbons, 20+second, and 3 yellow ribbons. so, that just kinda gives you t ida of the shows i've been in.... Anyway, i'm really scared, because this will be the first time i'll be riding my new 5 y/o horse in the show. and it's his first time too! But for the past week, he's been being really moody, like, he tries to kick/bite you if you're trying to take off his blanket in the stall, or tack him up. when i'm riding him, i now have to use a whip on him, because if i'm trotting, cantering, even walking, or jumping, he stops dead, and you have to smack him at least 5 times behind your leg with the whip. spurs don't work, he tries to buck because he doesn't like the spurs! and he doesn't seem to like the other horses lately. i'm really worried! what if he misbehaves at the show! it's rated A. and i've been working with him too long to not enter. also, what if he bolts? because of the flash of the camera? i'm really scared! please give me tips/pointers/reassuring comments/nothing mean
Thank you! this show i tomorrowow, and i need to be ready!
7 AnswersHorses1 decade agoIs this bad for my dog? ?
i own a 6 year old mini poodle. and she has tons of energy, and i have a big back yard. but the only way for her to get rid of it is to be let off the leash and run, but that can't happen because she'll probably run away. so i jump her. i take a stick from a tree, gather anything that can support it,and have hr jump it. she jumped up to 37 in. one time, and keep in mind she's only 11 1/4 in. tall. will this hurt her back? because she seems to enjoy it, and hasn't seemed to bother her a all. yet. pics:
