I live in a small college town and yesterday my drunk friends decided to explore this super old warehouse near the party streets. I didn't go into the warehouse but I did cross the "no trespassing" sign and got close to the warehouse. My friends went inside but came right back out. This is a super old warehouse near the party streets so I'm sure we're not the only drunk people to have attempted to explore it. But I just want to know if I could get in trouble. Do they watch security cameras at old, empty warehouses? Are there cameras at warehouses? Thanks.

I've been playing since 4th grade and I practice every single day for at least an hour. I played all through middle school and in the high school marching band. I used to be pretty good in 5th grade. When I got to high school even my teacher and section leader said I wasn't good. Like I practice and practice and practice but I can't get any better. Now I'm going to college next week and my mom somehow convinced me to do marching band in college. But I still suck! I don't want to be made fun of in college like I was in high school for my lack of playing skills. Please help me. I'm the only girl in the section too.

I have darker skin and have a ton of acne scars or hyperpigmentation. They're so ugly! I feel like I can't ever leave the house without makeup. I'm leaving for college in a few weeks and really want to feel confident with my skin. I've used store bought scar gel and that doesn't work. And my mom doesn't want me to take any kind of medication for it. How do I erase the acne marks from my skin as fast as possible? Natural ways? And also there's still some acne that I have to deal with. Nothing I use seems to work. Any suggestions?

I have a doctors appointment tomorrow and I have a huge fear of doctors and needles. Just walking in to the waiting room gives me anxiety and going back into the room with them is the worst thing ever. I cry hysterically, hyperventilate and shake. I've been doing this since I was a little kid. I don't know what to do. Whenever the doctor or nurse walks in I just start balling. I don't know why. I know I have to get a shot too and that's even worse cause of my fear of needles. So can someone please help me? Any tips on how to calm down while at the doctors or getting a shot? Can I take anything (I don't have any anxiety medication)? Is there any "natural remedies"? Deep breathing doesn't help me. Thanks.

I turned 18 a few months ago and my doctor is encouraging me to get a pelvic exam and Pap smear. I have an intense fear of doctors and my mom won't let me take any anxiety meds or anything. I'm so nervous! I have a few questions and concerns:

What is the procedure like and how long will it take?

Will it hurt? I've seen various things online, some said it hurt, some said it didn't. I've never been sexually active and I don't even wear tampons. So I guess this'll be my first vaginal penetration. Will i bleed? I also read that if you're tense it'll hurt more. But I don't know how I'd possibly relax! My insides are being displayed for a complete stranger for crying out loud!

What if I get a male doctor? I would feel so uncomfortable. And isn't that kinda inappropriate?

What if I'm on my period during the exam. Ew that'd be so gross.

I read online (that was probably a bad idea) that they stick a finger in your rectum too. Will that hurt??

Would you recommend having my mom in the room? I'm not sure if I want her there or not. Emotional support? Yes. But it'd be so awkward!

Finally, what if they do find something? Like a tumor or a cyst or what if I have cancer or something? (Yes I know that's probably unlikely but I'm scared.)

So I'm 18 and I've done practically nothing all summer. I'm so bored! I need like a bucket list or something to do before I leave for college. Today when I went to bed I couldn't sleep and finally when I did fall asleep it was just for a short amount of time. My throat is sore, my nose is stuffed, my neck is stiff, there's pain in the back of my throat. I have chills and am hot. Yesterday I was outside all day so could it be pollen/dust inhalation? Is it strep throat? Or is it tonsillitis? Please help, this is my last week of high school and I can't miss any school. I am deathly afraid of doctors also.

Prom is coming up. I haven't really danced at social events.. But I'm going with friends and don't want to just sit there. So how do I dance by myself without looking like an idiot (no I will not twerk or grind) and also how do I dance with a guy on the off chance that someone asks me to dance?

Hello, so I am going to be a college freshmen in the fall and plan on joining the marching band. I am going to me the only female in a group of 26+ males. It's for the low brass section, and I am kinda nervous about the initiations, I know college marching bands do them but I heard they're not as intense as, let's say a sorority initiation. I've heard some horror stories... So my question is what are initiations like? What happens during them?Is it like hazing? Thanks

Ever since I was a freshmen I've always wanted to be asked to prom like a lot of other girls are, like the prom proposals and stuff. But prom is in a few weeks and I don't have a date and I know that I probably won't get asked. Is prom fun alone? Some of my friends are going but have dates. I really want to go since this is my senior prom. My mom said she didn't want to spend money on a dress and shoes for "a dance thar I don't even have a date for" Any advice?

Today is my 18th birthday and I was wondering if I needed a full drivers license in order to buy a lottery ticket? I have my permit. And I live in the USA if there's any specific laws.
