I'm only going to be there a short time (max a week), around Easter, but I don't want to hire a car. How easy is it to travel around Tasmania by public transport? Every site I've been on seems to assume visitors will be driving. I know there are tour operators but, so far, I haven't found any whose entire itinerary appeals or where they have departures on dates that will work for me. Aside from Hobart, I want to visit Port Arthur and I'd really like to try to visit Freycinet NP / Wineglass Bay but suspect I may need a tour for that. I'd also like to try to get to the Antarctic Museum in Kingston.

If public transport does exist, would anyone recommend flying in to Launceton and out of Hobart (or vice-versa)? What am I likely to pass / see, en-route, that would make this option worth doing? I'll be flying from Melbourne.

Any idea who sang it? It's a male singer; probably an Indie band. Other lyrics include "changing costumes in your room, say never never" "a space ride out to a view of the world" and what sounds like "time stretched white lights". I came across it on an old mix tape that I had in my car, so I'd say it from the 80s or early 90s.

She has plenty of jewellery, doesn't really wear perfume, I (personally) would not buy her lingerie and I don't have enough photos of her/us from over the years to be able to put together a photo album. A really nice bottle of champagne seems a cop-out as I've known her for a long time. My own 40th birthday is a few weeks later and I can't think of anything special that I want/need, so have no starting inspiration for her's.

All of my dishcloths have turned grey, even ones that I've only recently started using. I boil-wash them regularly, so they're clean, but they look unsightly. I've tried soaking them in bleach but that doesn't help. Any ideas?
