When I'm 18 (in a few years time) I will be moving to Houston (where my dad lives) from Scotland for college. I will either be going to a college there (this sucks as Houston is really boring) or hopefully Austin. I want to know what it will be like. If I go to Austin will I need a dorm (is that what's it's called?). If so what is that like? What are both the social and educational sides aspects like? What about moving to the U.S. in general? I do have a pretty good knowledge of the U.S. because I used to live there and have made trips out almost once a year for the last decade. I'm pretty sure I will need a job, right? How does the educational process work? I've heard terms like "masters", "majors", "the scedual is very flexible", "PhD" etc.

Sorry for loads of questions in one but I souls like some info on the whole experience.

I would like to do bichemistry at a university/college in houston. Right now I am picking my subjects for my national levels.

What I will do is hopefully get national 5, higher, and advanced higher in maths, English , chemistry and biology.

So my first question is: what would I need to get into a biochemistry course. I have been told maths, biology (obviously) and chemistry (obviously) but what else?

Second question: if I do nationals in scotland what would be the U.S equivalent?

Question three: what level would I need to pass the subjects needed to get into the college/university

Question four: what is the U.S difference between College and university??

I want to learn Japanese because i love the culture and would love to visit/live there. I would like to know the easiest way and If possible avoid the writing until i have learnt a few words. is there any apps or YouTube videos that would help and would the sleep learning work. i also am learning French in school which i don't like much because of all the Masculine and Feminine (i have heard Japanese has none of which) and strange rules like il, Elle, nous,vous ECT.

I got the iPod five and do you know the screen the iPod goes to when the device has been completely dead (the one with the res battery where u cant use it)??? It has been @ that for hours how long will it take to charge so i can use it.

I went on to my iPod and my Minecraft kept crashing at company name, so I deleted a heap of jailbreaks until I cane to 1. it said to restart spring board so I did but when it came back on it froze at the same screen where u download the IOS updates. I tried to see if there was a system update about an hour before but the page in settings didn't load so I left it. does this have something to do with it?

I've tried the hold lock+home button but it still goes back to the update screen and I've tried to let it run out of battery but that didn't work either. the other annoying thing is that the bar at the bottom to tell u how far on the system update is doesn't fill. I cant even factory reset it as It wont connect to iTunes on the computer.
