I am a new dishwasher at this fine dining restaurant. Long story short, the dishwashers are told to bleach any raw products (blood, meat, shrimp, etc..) and some how in the process of me spray bleach from a bottle, the bleach got onto my neck without me knowing it. Anyways, I'm thinking that maybe one of the nights that I was working and was exposed to bleach that I basically left work, went home, and fell asleep. It's the only explanation as I don't always take a shower after work (which is gross, I realize) but most of the time I do though. Anyways, I now have spotty red rashes is the best way I can describe it on my neck mostly and 2 small patches on my face. I'm assuming that some of the shave cuts on my neck and face caught some of the bleach that was in the air and got infected. Basically my main question is how long does this usually take to heal and will I have scarring? Or does scarring only occur in rare circumstances? Also, what is the best lotion/cream/etc that I can apply to the area that will allow the area to heal faster? I have taken several showers since me noticing these rashes on my skin too. I'm just worried that this will be with me for life because I really don't want to have to deal with this for the rest of my life. I didn't even spray the bleach directly on my skin, I was pointing the spray bottle at the cutting board that I was cleaning raw products off of. Please tell me that scarring only happens in severe bleach burns. I'm assuming this is minor.

I already know that the solution for x is 12, but if I were given this problem on a test and had to write all of this out, especially the factors for 30144.... wouldn't that be an impractical way of solving for x since listing all the possible factors would take forever? What's an easier or faster way of dealing with this problem?

Honestly, I already know what a and b are since the teacher provided a solutions page, but I just don't understand the algebra behind getting there and I have a test tomorrow. I don't know why I'm having trouble or keep getting ridiculous values. This honestly isn't even that hard of a problem but I still keep getting dumb solutions for a and b. What is the correct algebra to gain the answers? Thanks.

The graph showed it reflected about the y-axis so I know it's in the form of y=Alog_b(-x+3) + k at least, but I don't know how to derive the base, k, and A. Any help appreciated, thanks.

A Logarithmic function that passes through (-2,2) and (2,0) that has a vertical asymptote of x=3. The graph was also present on the quiz and it's base is greater than 1 (not a fraction) at least and a reflection about the y-axis.

I know it's in the form of y=Alog_b(-x+3) + k just because it's reflected about the y-axis and the V.A. = x=3.....

Although, prior to the quiz, I never figured out how to properly solve for the two variables plus the base. Anyways, I just assumed it was log base "10"... and used my intuition to get the answer as f(x)= 1log(-x+3)+1 as the answer but I don't know if it is correct nor do I even know how to manipulate the algebra in a way to even find the correct equation. Please help. Thanks.

I'm supposed to be giving a presentation in front of the class on a college topic of my choosing. The problem is, all of the topics given to me that I could choose from are all common sense based in my opinion.

Here is the list of topics I can choose from.

1.) Academic Advising (uumm...?? Academic Advising??) You get help from an academic advisor on what major to choose and what classes to pick. What's hard to understand about that? No need to give a presentation. The college already provides this for everyone.

2.) Alcohol and Drug abuse (pretty self-explanatory if you ask me) Don't do drugs and while you're in college you should be focusing on your studies and not drinking. No need to do a presentation at all. It's common sense.

3.) Campus Involvement. Now this one I could see an actual presentation being done but the only problem is that I'm not involved in anything other than my major (just going to classes) so this one is kind of ruled out for me.

4.) Career Development. Can't really do a presentation on this topic because I'm not involved in anything career related nor am I even close to graduating yet.

5.) Financial Literacy. Lol, this one makes me laugh honestly. You don't pay for your classes = you don't take classes. Simple. I can't give a presentation on something that can be answered in a few sentences and that is also common sense.

6.) Sexual Violence Prevention. Seriously? Ever heard of the police or getting a restraining order on a specific person?

Do any highly experienced Halo Wars players have a good strategy or tips/hints I can use to beat Legendary proficiently without being cheap? It seems like the only way I can beat Legendary on Halo Wars 1 is to Hog rush them by going behind their base and basically taking advantage of the fact that the Arbiter's AI doesn't respond/do anything about the 7+ Hogs I have behind their base. I think it's cheap to play this way though and I think the Arbiter is the only one it works on because I tried this on the Brutes and Prophet and I'm pretty sure they actually went back there and destroyed my Hogs. The point is though; that if I try to play Legendary straight up without using cheap tactics (not saying that Hog rushing or rushing is cheap; just the back of the base thing is) like setting up a sizable defense/units and/or playing the game like any real time strategy should be played then I get demolished. I always play Cutter and it doesn't matter if I lock my base or not because the Legendary AI just some how miraculously out produces me by 3,000-6,000 resources and manages to create 5-6 Wraiths (equivalent to Scorpions mind you) while only having 5 buildings created and less techs researched than me. How TF is this possible when I'm sitting over here with 7 buildings?!!??? How does the Legendary AI produce so much in such a small period of time with 2 less buildings than I have??? I swear I had 5 Heavy Supply Pads and the AI still managed to out produce me. I think they know how to pull out the GameShark or something. That doesn't make any sense at all. It'd be the equivalent of having a team of Ogres in Warcraft with only like 5-6 buildings built within the first 5-6 minutes. Makes absolutely no sense. I've tried Supply, Barracks, Supply, Reactor, Supply, Supply, Field Armory then expanded. I never make air units unless I choose Anders. I never play Covenant either, just mostly Cutter. I can typically Hog rush with Supply, Reactor, and then the rest Supply....but you could teach a 5 year old how to do this though...... Do you build buildings right away or do you wait and save resources? What do I need to do to get better and what's the smartest building sequence if I want to create a real time Army with Cutter? Or is there not really a way to win against Legendary without being cheap? I also read that they produce more than one unit at once and they have more health and are stronger too. Is this true? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Ok, here's the deal. I downloaded the game "Doom 3" the PC version to my computer and I decided to just burn the game to a compact disc rather than always playing it from my computer hard drive. Anyways, the game successfully burned to the dual layered DVD+R compact disc that I have and the game plays good from the disc but takes little longer to load (which is fine by me) but I've only made one save at the beginning of the game but every time I try to save after that though it says something along the lines of "not enough drive space free to save the game". I don't know if it's my driver or the actual space on the compact disc itself but I went to the CD's properties and it has at least 6 gigabytes of free space which should be enough space to create saves all the way through the game right? Or am I missing something here? How is 6 gigabytes free of space not enough space to save a game? What can I do to change this? Anything you can provide me with is appreciated.

It's an 8.5 gigabyte compact disc. Memorex DVD+R dual layered 240 minutes.

Doom 3 barely took up over 1.7 gigs..... what's the issue?

I haven't tried to save the game more than once on my computer but even then I should have more than enough space to make 100 saves let alone 1 save.

I honestly don't understand. I feel like I am literally a different person. I can't explain it. It is like one day I just lost all of my natural abilities or something. I have hocd and I have NEVER been gay my entire life. It doesn't make any sense. How can someone just all of a sudden change overnight. I've suffered with hocd for a year now and I don't know what to do to help myself. I used to be such a pro-active and determined person. My spirit feels weak and it is getting weaker. I can't feel love for my family anymore. I don't know what the heck has happened to me or anyone else that suffers with this defiling illness or addiction of the mind. Someone please help, this is completely crushing my heart, mind, spirit, and soul. Why am I the complete opposite of who I used to be?

There is no reason to live anymore. I'm sick and tired of having hocd and I cannot live anymore with it. It is just too difficult. Everything that I have worked hard for in my life has been demolished by this horrific disorder. I thought I was tough enough to handle it, but I guess not. I don't see any point in living any more if all of my natural abilities have been taken away from me. My spirit is crushed. I can't seem to fix my mind or heart so I think I'm just going to end it. I don't seem to care about anything, I try, but I always fall short for some reason. I've come to the conclusion that I'm nothing but a self-centered prick. I'm an asshole. Seriously the only reason I have this is because I worked with some guy dude and now I have homosexual thoughts all the time about family members and just other people in general. In case you are wondering I am a guy but I'm not going to disclose my age because it really doesn't matter but I've had this problem for about a year so far. Don't even answer if you are just going to say common sense stuff.

Common sense help would include advice such as...(I already know this stuff I am about to list)(No need to tell me this)(I need expert information from someone who has actually overcame this addiction of the mind)

-Just let the thoughts be there, don't engage in them.

-The more you try to defeat the thoughts the stronger they will get.

-No I am not gay. I have never been gay. I'll never be gay. I just have gay thoughts.

-Don't tell me it is a fear because I know it is a fear.

-Don't give me advice about psychology please... I have seen psychologists and psychiatrists and they cannot help me. Cognitive behavioral therapy doesn't help neither does ERP. I am very active and determined already so I don't need a psychiatrist giving me homework. I am already exposing myself to situations.
