i'M SAVED THROUGH THE BLOOD OF CHRIST JESUS! I'M SET FREE! ARE YOU?

  • Christianity haters: What did Christianity do to you?

To spend your time attacking the beliefs of others is bad enough but those beliefs, when adhered to and held in truth promote love, joy, peace, understanding, kindness, patience etc... So what have these individuals, faithful to their beliefs, intent on representing or promoting the attributes above, done to cause you to hate them so much? What drives you to insult others who believe something that you refuse to believe? What is about Christians or Christianity that you hate so much?

  • Can you logically explain the existence of our universe?

    Here's a hint:

    It's not the big bang!

    Think about your answer please!

  • Have you noticed the similarities between the atheist claim of intelligence and the fall of man?

Satan isn't dumb and he sticks with what works. It worked with Adam and eve and it's working with atheists today!

    Have you noticed the similarities?

  • How do self proclaimed "free thinkers" justify their denial of "free will"?

Free thinkers without free will and/or free thought. This is brilliant!

Without free will there can be no choice to deny free will. It is the free will of those who deny free will to do so!

The denial of free will demands the denial of free thought. It requires thought to be determined by a prior cause or divine intervention. Therefore, "free thinkers" aren't free to think at all, they are controlled by circumstance and must be completely 100% predictable. That doesn't sound free at all.

Adaptation and variability provide the proof of the necessary existence of free will. We can see this in our observation of "survival of the fittest". Survival would not be dependent on being the "fittest".

The first step of free will is freedom. Scientists have proven that animals act freely and do not always respond in exactly the same manner. (Bjorn Brembs, Nuerobiologist: The Free University of Berlin)

  • Spiritually speaking: Can a blind scientist be trusted if he claims he has observed evidence supporting GOD?

In other words, is it possible that observational evidence can be obtained through one of several other senses we have? Or, is observational evidence only evidence for those who's eyes are functioning properly.

I have senses other than sight. My other senses have observed evidence for God. I've never seen love either, but my other senses observe evidence that are in support of the existence of love. Maybe there's more to reality than only that which can be seen. If not, those who are blind live fully outside of reality. Obviously, that in and of itself is not reality, is it?

  • Where is the observational evidence that atheists base their belief or lack of, in God's existence?

A skeptic or atheist is governed by two main principles: 1) all beliefs must be supported by observational evidence, and 2) beliefs that contradict observational evidence cannot be tolerated. However, strong atheism states that there is no god, even though observational evidence indicates that the universe has a cause that cannot be detected observationally. So despite the lack of observational evidence for a naturalistic cause for the universe, the strong atheist believes that the universe has a naturalistic cause and that there is no god, contradicting the tenet that all beliefs should be based upon observational evidence!

  • Non believers: Did you know Christians don't share GOD so WE can "WIN", we share GOD so YOU can "WIN"?

We are NOT engaged in a competition of strength or numbers as many of you think. Strength, having the biggest "team", works, and pride won't save you.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of

God. Not by works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9NIV

Gal. 2:16 , "nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified."

Christians aren't here to "win"! We already have "WON" thanks to the sacrifice and justification of Jesus Christ! We are here to share with others how they can "WIN" too!

Christians don't share GOD so WE can "WIN", we share GOD so YOU can "WIN"

  • Atheists, Of all the intellectuals, scholars and great thinkers?

that had faith, are there any you still consider credible? If so, which ones? Are they all irrational and logically flawed like others, not so famous, that have faith, like many of you claim of Christians?

    A FEW EXAMPLES:

    Nicholas Copernicus (1473-1543)

    Sir Francis Bacon (1561-1627)

    Johannes Kepler (1571-1630)

    Galileo Galilei (1564-1642)

    Rene Descartes (1596-1650)

    Blaise Pascal (1623-1662)

    Isaac Newton (1642-1727)

    Robert Boyle (1791-1867)

    Michael Faraday (1791-1867)

    Gregor Mendel (1822-1884)

    William Thomson Kelvin (1824-1907)

    Max Planck (1858-1947)

    Albert Einstein (1879-1955)

  • Mormons, The last time J. Smith was arrested , he fled due to FEAR of a mob. Why didn't he trust God (cont)?

to protect him like Daniel (lions den), Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego (thrown in the furnace), Paul (stoned, nearly to death), Noah (flood), David (Goliath), Jonah (the whale) and plenty more. Not one of them fled in fear. Instead, they were faithful and God protected them and was glorified through them. These situations were used as "wake up calls" to bring others to God.

No one that is recognized as faithful, Godly or a prophet of God RAN AWAY by their own power and hid out of fear. The only people who did were apart from God and guilty of deception. Jacob fled and hid after lying (Afraid of Esau) and not trusting God. Within 24 hrs, God had changed Jacob and he returned home, trusting God to protect him. (Gen. 28) Jotham ran away, and fled,.... Having delivered his fable, and the application of it, he made his escape. (Judges 9)

    .

Why is Joseph Smith the ONLY self proclaimed prophet, supposedly trusting God and faithful to God, to behave in such an unfaithful, scared and quite literally cowardly manner just like those who were without God did when they lied and deceived others?

  • JW's, Where does your "organization" get it's authority?

Your "organization" believes the Bible is the WORD of God, the ultimate authority, but your "organization" does not OBEY the WORD of God. Therefore, authority can not and does not come from God and can only come from man. Man has no authority over salvation or Gods word. Why does your "organization" assume the authority held only by God?

  • Spiritually speaking: How does Tim Tebow do it?

Tebow is known for his commitment to sharing John 3:16 with anyone he can. I guess his commitment has payed off!! Is it all mysterious? I guess God does work "in mysterious ways"

" The fact that Tebow had 316 yards passing and averaged 31.6 yards per pass in the game didn't escape notice on Sunday night. Tebow wore "John 3:16" on his eye black in the 2009 BCS Championship game and has since become identified with the famous Bible message. The coincidental stats caused millions of fans to perform Google searches on the Bible passage in the past 24 hours. Here's one more unbelievable stat: John Ourand of Sports Business Journal reports that the final quarter-hour television rating for the Broncos-Steelers game was, you guessed it, 31.6."

    -Yahoo sports

Maybe Tebowing (Talking to God aka praying) isn't so laughable anymore. I'm not trying to say this is proof of anything or that this is a divine miraculous work, but it's funny how the laughter has stopped!

I think he got the message out!

How does Tim Tebow do it?

  • Can you logically explain why the Bible is false due to it being written approx. 2000 yrs ago but?

the scientific method, fathered by Ibn al-Haytham (965–1039) remains somehow true although it's over 1000 years old?

What is the magical age where truth (which is absolute, or it could not be truth) loses its truth? Once that age is determined, is everything that we know about that age false?

I'm having a tough time following this logic, please explain.

  • How do you account for the laws of logic in a universe without God?

The laws of logic are conceptual by nature and absolute. Being absolute, they transcend space and time. They are not the properties of the physical universe (since they are conceptual) or of people (since people contradict each other, which would mean they weren't absolute). So, how do you account for them?

Examples of logical absolutes are: something cannot be itself and not itself at the same time (Law of non-contradiction). A thing is what it is (Law of identity). A statement is either true or false (Law of excluded middle). These are simple, absolute logical absolutes.

Be careful not to be guilty of any Logical Fallacies or Fallacies in Argumentation.

  • Can you teach me how to ignore evidence from scientific facts such as:?

    FACT:

Cells can’t live unless each of their many proteins not only folds correctly, but receives the correct address tag. When several things must be in place at the same time for an object to function, it is called “irreducible complexity,” and is evidence it had a creator!

definition of "irreducible complexity" - Biochemistry professor Michael Behe, the originator of the term irreducible complexity, defines an irreducibly complex system as one "composed of several well-matched, interacting parts that contribute to the basic function, wherein the removal of any one of the parts causes the system to effectively cease functioning"
