  • Free PDF Editor and Typewriter?

I'm looking for a free PDF editor that lets:

    1. add / delete pages

    2. type in PDF

    3. no watermarks

    4. not an online PDF editor

I have used free PDF softwares that does either #1 or #2, but none that does both. If there is really a free one that does all of these out for free? I know software companies are always trying to make a profit one way or another, but that's besides the point here. Please give me a recommendation. Thanks.

  • 2009 Toyota Corolla - Manufacturer does not specify rear camber and toe adjustments?

Does that mean there is nothing I can do to make my rear wheels fall inside the specified range?

My front wheels are aligned and within the specified range. For my rear wheels, the rear left and rear right toes are out of range.

Specified range for rear left toe: 0.01° - 0.26°

Specified range for rear right toe: 0.01° - 0.26°

    Actual rear left toe: 0.38°

    Actual rear right toe: -0.02°

    Any advice?

  • How much will you get back if you hold bond to maturity?

Let's say the face value of a bond is $1,000, with 5% coupon rate, and matures in 5 years. You paid a premium of $1,150 at the time of purchase. If you hold the bond to maturity, how much money will you get back in total?

  • Windshield Wiper Parts?

I want to get new windshield wipers. The rubber part that touches and cleans the windshield is peeling off. What is that part called? Would it be easier if I replace the entire thing, and what would be the cost differences to replace the entire thing relative to replacing the part that touches and cleans the windshield?

  • Problem with Half.com checkout process?

I purchased a textbook at Half.com. Through the checkout process, I have confirmed the shipping address, credit card info, price, and I clicked on the "Place my order!" button so the transaction should have went through. But after the confirmation page of placing the order I couldn't find the item in Purchases, Shopping Cart, and the item has not been relisted. Basically, the item just disappeared after purchasing. I doubt anyone would have purchased the item since it would be in my Shopping Cart throughout the checkout process, but the item disappeared after the checkout process.

So what might have happened to the item, any suggestions? And how long should I wait before I repurchase the textbook from another seller, in case there are delays with Half.com updating stuff? I don't want to end up with two of the same item. It has been more than 5 hours since the purchase transaction and I have been checking if the item was relisted or if I can find it in Purchases, etc but still no luck.

  • Getting Outbid on Ebay?

I have been outbid on an item and I don't want to increase my bid. After the auction is over, can I safely bid the same item from another user? I don't want to end up with two of the same item so I want to make sure I am not responsible for the first item that I have been outbid on in any ways possible. So once I am outbid, I won't be force to purchase that item or is it still possible that I might be responsible if the winner forfeits or for any other reason that you can think of?

  • getting CPA versus MBA?

I graduated about 6 months ago with a BS in Managerial Economics, I am in California. How long would it normally take to get a CPA vs. a MBA, meaning how much longer will it take to get a MBA? I sort of feel that accounting is the way to go, don't really know how much use a MBA would be to me. So give me some comparisons between CPA vs. MBA, including any additional classes or things I need to do, pros and cons between the two? CPA is more focused and MBA is more flexible??? Or should I get a CPA first and then think about MBA later on? So would this sound good? CPA ==> job experience ==> MBA (optional) How can I study for CPA?

  • clicking sound coming from car?

I have a 09 Corolla and there is a clicking sound coming from the car. I was told by a Toyota techinician that it seems to be coming from around the shifter area when we went for a road test. They said they "reposition all heat shield under vehicle and check under hood area" but they did not find any problems. The clicking sound happens at random times and sometimes it would not make any noise at all. Could it be that something is stuck somewhere, but apparently, they did not find any problems with the car?

  • Individual dental insurance for braces (re-post)?

Sorry, Yahoo Answers won't let me extend this question anymore so I am going to repost this question and wait for more answers.

What is a good "individual" dental insurance if I were to get braces? I have done some research and nailed it down to DeltaCare and Pacificare. So which dental insurance is better, or any other suggestions? Pacificare cost slightly less than DeltaCare as far as co-payments go. Both are HMO plans, all the PPO plans covers little to nothing for braces, so HMO seems to be the only way to go for an individual plan. DeltaCare seems to be more reliable since it's associated with Delta Dental, a little more costly also.

I'm more concerned about the "quality" of the services as far as making claims and such. So DeltaCare, Pacificare, or ay other dental insurance/plans? Any personal experience with either of these companies? I am in San Francisco, California.

  • Dental Insurance Recommendations?

Does anyone have any recommendations for dental insurance, preferably a reliable company? I've tried looking it up online and a lot of them are dental plans and not dental insurance. Either that or I can't get through the line because they are always "busy assisting other customers." I've tried Metlife but they aren't currently providing dental insurance. They refered me to Safeguard but is that reliable?

I'm looking for insurance that cover major procedures such as scaling and root planning and gum surgery. I'm living in California, personal experience will be appreciated.

  • Car Alarm Bypass Notification?

I just had an alarm reinstalled on my 09 Corolla recently. After the alarm was installed, I realized that when I lock my doors the car would chirp once and like 3 seconds later it would chirp again. So does that mean the alarm is working properly? Because usually car alarms chirp once when you lock it.

I looked at the owner's manual and it says this additional chirping a few seconds later after the doors are locked are called "bypass notification" meaning that an input is active (doors open, sensor triggering, etc) while the car is armed or something.

So I brought my car back to the installer and he told me that the alarm chirps once when it's locked and again a few seconds later because he set the alarm on zone 2. He said he made the alarm chirp like this (2 times) because he wants to prevent the alarm from going off like before. The previous alarm he installed for me kept on going off and the warning chirps would chirp for no reason.

So does setting the alarm on zone 2 (I think he said zone 2) makes my car chirp once and then chirp again a few seconds later? Is there anything I need to worry about my car chirping twice like this when locking the doors?

  • 09 Corolla AC clicks?

I was told by the dealer that the AC on my 09 Corolla clicks because the AC clutch turns on and off to keep the car cool.

So if my car clicks like 3-10 times a minute, is that normal or do I need to be worried? BTW, it's about 85-105 degrees farenheit where I live.

  • 2009 Toyota Corolla Alarm Keeps on Going Off?

I bought a 2009 Corolla LE about 2 months ago and had a dealer installed alarm on it. I noticed that the honk goes off a few times daily at random times so I took it to the dealer to have the alarm uninstalled. Then I went to an audio store to install a factory add-on alarm, the Hornet 727T. But the problem is that the warning chirps would start going off at random times now. So I brought my car back to the audio store to have the sensitivity turned down the first time and have it turned down some more the second time but the warning chirps still goes off. The audio store thought it was the alarm unit that was causing the problem so he installed a brand new alarm and I ensured that the sensitivty was turned way down but the warning chirps are still going off. I had this problem for over a month now and I'm sure there are no cars going by or any loud vibrations when the warning chirps goes off. So I'm sure the warning chirps goes off at random times. I wanted to get a refund from the audio store but he told me he can either give me store credit or swap the alarm with an aftermarket alarm. I suspect that installing another alarm would do the same thing and I have absolutely no use for store credit, and it's not possible for me to get my money back. So what should I do or why is the warning chirps still going off? I was told that the car might have been going into sleep mode and checks if the doors are locked every now and then but he don't know how to fix it. So any advice or suggestions? Any professional suggestions about why the warning chirps are going off on a new car, when the sensitivity is turned way down already?
