  • Weird math / logic question.....?

An even number multiplied by an even number always results in an even answer.

An odd number multiplied by an even number always results in an even answer.

The only way to get an odd answer is to multiply an odd number by an odd number.

Why, if there are 2 ways to get an even numbered answer, and only 1 way to get an odd numbered answer, aren't there twice as many even numbers as odd?

Told ya it was weird (maybe even stupid) but it's been bugging me for years!

  • Vomiting after drinking water or eating...Healthy otherwise. Ideas?

Our male cat is approximately 10 years old now. We got him from a shelter about 4 years ago. Our vet has suggested that it is because he gulps his food down (he does) that he will frequently throw up after eating or drinking. It happens quite frequently (5 - 6 times a month). When he does throw up his dry food it is shortly after eating, and it appears to be poorly chewed. He may also throw up after eating canned food or after drinking water. Does anyone have any other ideas as to what might be causing this? Thanks in advance for any ideas.

  • Can you recommend some plants/flowers that deer won't eat?

I live on 84 wooded acres in Southeast Indiana and would like to do some planting next spring. Tons of deer and wild turkey roaming around the house. Enjoy the deer and wild turkey, but want garden and landscaping too. Appreciate any help you can give. Thanx!

  • Fecal Impaction Advice......Please?

I've had the problem twice in the past (about 5 or 6 years ago)..Impaction in lower colon, not rectum (not to be gross, but can feel hard stool with tip of my finger when fully inserted)....Visits to ER on both ocassions resulted in admission for a couple of days of milk and molasses enemas. Problem is here again and is complicated by current lack of health insurance.

    My questions are these:

    1) Can I safely self-administer milk and molasses enemas?

    2) Do you know the mixture, frequency and amount to administer?

I would appreciate any help you might give....It's 8 days now since I've gone except for the liquid stool from above. Thank you.
