  • Why are the democrats blaming republicans for bills not passed when they do not need their vote?

they continually call them the party of no - could it be that they know these bills are bad and are worried about getting elected again?

    read the link below -

When Barack Obama took control of the White House he had everything going for him. He had majorities in the House and Senate that were so large the minority party could not stop any legislation. Infighting among Democrats and the desire to protect vulnerable seats are the only reasons that legislation did not pass. The Democrats, and only the Democrats, are responsible for any failures to achieve Obama’s agenda. Republicans could not stop them. The Democrats blame Republicans and call them the party of “No” but the Republicans were not needed to get anything passed. Democrats blame Republicans for not supporting issues that would hurt America and allow Democrats to claim bipartisanship. it is almost comical as they are in charge.

  • Does it bother anyone that the Senators are going to strong arm the health bill through?

I don't think anyone would argue that reform is needed but I don't think the senators are listening to the public. Even after the "speech" the polls still indicate public support is not there. After reading parts of the bill it appears to give a lot of control to the government. Why would anyone think this is good. I have found a few people who have actually read the bill, any many more who have not. It appears even Democratic senators who do no agree will have to support it to get is through.
