Does it bother anyone that the Senators are going to strong arm the health bill through?

I don't think anyone would argue that reform is needed but I don't think the senators are listening to the public. Even after the "speech" the polls still indicate public support is not there. After reading parts of the bill it appears to give a lot of control to the government. Why would anyone think this is good. I have found a few people who have actually read the bill, any many more who have not. It appears even Democratic senators who do no agree will have to support it to get is through.

Update:

On the negative side despite making a clear case on the biggest stage for his proposals the nations remains largely split on their support for the current bills. Rasmussen reports that 46% of the population currently support the plan while 51% oppose.

This attitude of Obama and Congress alone is extremely disconcerting, but for anyone who has been "connecting" the dots of Obamas unseen agenda, it becomes downright frightening.

People are so focused on Obamas bouncing ball and the prostitution of almost the entire news media, there is plenty of room to maneuver behind the scenes. Only ONE of these behind the scenes moves has been exposed so far.......Van Jones, with his racist, radical activist and socialist ideology. Problem is, Obamas OTHER 32 appointments, with NO ONE knowing anything about them........and yet "they" hold ALL the critical and controlling positions in our country, from the FDA to FCC and some never even heard of. These are VERY bad times.

there isn't any doubt they are going to edit the bill to a pair degree, now. yet interior the top it is going to nonetheless be a pile of junk. IF liberals like Obama, Pelosi, etc. have been 0.5 as smart as they think of they're, all they might do is restoration besides the fact that ales Medicare and Medicaid. it may be thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of greenbacks greater no longer costly. No, Obama and Pelosi reason to shove their bill inspite of the indisputable fact that because of fact there's a relax someplace down the line for them. in any different case, they does no longer be so make certain to push a bill by using that they themselves haven't any activity in.

  • I do think we need insurance reform as well but as you say strong arming through is a very very bad idea for them. We will see how many of our representatives are not reelected at this point if they try to put the screws to the American people. They also better be worried about their jobs as well.

  • It is not good. It is really bad. Everyone should call their own Senatorand tell them to vote NO! AND WHEN THEY DON'T DO NOT RE ELECT THEM. I find it sad that no one paid attention to the issues until after they voted for their congressmen and president. Perhaps if everyone would've truly researched instead of jumping on the YES WE CAN bandwagon we wouldn't be in this mess. So thank you America, hope you enjoy the ride. NWO here we come. JERKS

Just don't ever forget those responsible for adding that extra line item deduction from your weekly pay check. Always keep in mind the Zero Liability Voters who will enjoy the fruits of your labor.

    Suckers.

Absolutely! But it is not too late. NOW is the time to CALL your SENATORS and House REPRESENTATIVES.

Keep the pressure on. They _have_ changed the obamacare plan in a quite substantial manner since its ugly conception.

BTW, if you are not yet of voting age, I guarantee that you do not matter to them so if that is your circumstance, urge your parents to call and raise Cain about this abuse of executive power.

Source(s): It's time to vote ALL of them out of office. We need a "remove incumbent" option on the ballots.

Those senators will be voted out. No more democrat majority in 2010.

I have read two versions of the bill so far. I do not think anyone is ramming anything through. Both sides pretty much agree on the issues at stake, but are campaigning to be the ones to get it through.

The public wants the reform. 77%. And the majority of Americans said they wanted this reform by the end of this year. Better late than never. If they finally sign it, they'll finally being doing what their public has wanted all along.

I fear my country is no longer "for the people". The new slogan should read "for the government".
