How do you destroy a country like the US without military action, and change it to something other than its previous values system?

changing it away from the value systems that has helped make it a world respected leader and country that others want to emulate.

If this was your assignment say a few years ago as the leader of an enemy country, how would you have gone about it.  How could you do the greatest damage possible, again without using military or maybe even appearing to be at peace with the US as you plot the destruction in the shadows.

I read recently something that a great famous military and political strategist and statesman said in a book he wrote about how you can inflict the greatest damage on a country to turn it into something other than what it has been and for the worse......

its actually very simple and easy to do, because you do that one simple thing, than its easy to begin the falling of dominoes that will only accelerate.

I was thinking....wow....this great tactician, really literally predicted the current events of the US.  It was done to us and the dominoes have begun to fall.....
