I have found a place where that passwords are stored and there is a preference in the options to not store them....but I wonder if there is some other secret way hackers can get the passwords? So I mean I am using a borrowed laptop and I will return it soon. I cant format their laptop to protect myself since its not mine to do that....but how can I be sure none of my password data will be stored and not stolen after I give it back?

so what i mean is that I have a pdf with many pages, but I only want three of them to be saved into a small file. these three pages are all that i need from the big pdf so in the future I can print these three pages without sifting through the big monster file.

so is this a job for those pdf maker programs I have seen or is there another way? I noticed that adobe pdf reader has a snapshot function but I don't know how to use it exactly or if that is the right option.

I get a message saying that a file name is too long so it won't copy. so my question is, why would it matter how long the file name is? and since it does not tell me which one it is, but instead aborts the job, then I have to guess. but it still will copy the file if I do them one by one. it just won't copy all the files from the master folder which includes the suspect too long named file.

so is there a way I can make it copy all things including the file with the long name? is there a trick? or can I find the long name file easily? I mean, it would be a guessing game unless there is a way to locate it by some type of computer search method or other software. and if I find it, can I simply change the name?

now that I have copied all the files one by one, I would like to find an easier way to copy them in one swoop if I have to move them again to another computer.

I think that it is not a virus, so maybe not need to format. The last time I re-formatted, it was okay for a few days and then it was slow again. I think it is related to my browser only. The computer itself is okay when I run other programs so it must not be a virus right?

Someone told me that my antivirus, Microsoft Essentials might be making the problem. He suggested some other free software called 360 which will automatically remove any addons that I have in my browser. But I don't want to try it yet until I hear what others have to say.

Some symptoms include, that the laptop makes noise inside when it is moving slow and if I open a new browser, then it is okay. sometimes if I open a new tab, then it is okay but sometimes not.

sometimes I get frozen within a few minutes of running my computer and sometimes it takes longer. and then I have to shut down and start again and then it is fine, until all of a sudden, it gets frozen. so what can be the cause of this and what is the solution???

Other things is that my session just freezes up without any notice. It means the keyboard typing gets stuck and i can't even open a new browser which sometimes lets me continue to surf without a problem. sometimes i can't even switch tabs.

I just replaced my hardrive. the shop that replaced it also installed it including my operating system. the problem is that every few seconds, minutes or hours, depending on the situation, my computer shuts down quickly as if that someone is holding down the shut down button all of a sudden.

It didn't do this before I replaced the hardrive and had the OS reinstalled. What could have happened? the shop said it might be my fan, but they cleaned it and it is still happening so I don't know what to do now.

I have mixed water with some white putty powder mix, the stuff that is used to fill holes in the wall. I guess it is called wall putty or spackle. But some of the stuff got in the carpet. I tried scrubbing it out and vacuuming but it is still there as white patches everywhere in the grooves of the carpet.

I threw some hydrochloric acid down and it seems to have cleared the cement like residue in the carpet, but I wonder if there is another more simple, better smelling chemical or solution that would actually dissolve all the white patches on the carpet.

well for instance in a chat room or forum where the admin can see where you sign in from. but what if you make two different accounts from the same computer. is that more or less looking the same as if someone next door made an account also?

there light always says on, but I click and it goes off and the window says they are unavailable. what is the deal? I have seen this happen a few times with a few different people. when I messaged them, they said that they were online, so why does this happen?

This is happening to a friend's computer. He can surf the net, but when he types in the youtube url, he gets this message. The same will happen if he googles youtube and clicks on the link. So what's up with that?

I want to open it on my laptop which is 98. So conversion program will work on my computer, or do I need to take it to another computer which has 2007 and convert it there? I recall seeing that function.

What is the correct term for a set of jobs that you want to delgate to another member of staff occasionally or occassionally not? Is it a parallel job or is it something different?
