My name is Raleigh. I am 22 years old. I am many things. A writer. A performer. An average young woman who is entirely uncertain about what she plans to do with her life. My interests span a great many things, and I am equally passionate in all the things I pursue. Science, body modification, sign language, literature, music... As you can imagine, it is difficult to narrow down. If I possessed the means to do so, I would likely be a perpetual student. I love to learn. I love to know things, understand things. Alas, it just isn't possible. And alas, there is little more I can tell you about myself. I doubt you'll be able to determine anything more about my character from this.
Menstrual cycle changes?
My periods used to be very regular, lasting about a week. Since my miscarriage in August last year, my periods have become much shorter and lighter, lasting no more than 4 days. They're irregular and hard to predict, and I've been battling severe depression as well. I'm going to the doctor soon, but I wanted some opinions first. Any ideas what's wrong with me?
1 AnswerWomen's Health7 years agoJealous of Pregnant Women. Help?
I don't know what to do. I feel like I'm going crazy. I had a miscarriage a year ago, and I still find myself struggling with intense jealousy of women who are either pregnant or have young children. I feel like everyone around me is getting pregnant. Three of my co-workers and my best friend have announced their pregnancies, and two others gave birth less than a month ago. I want to be happy for them, but it's so hard when all I can think about is how much I want to be where they are. I'm almost afraid to talk to anyone about it.I don't want to upset my pregnant friends by being negative, and I don't think my boyfriend is ready to even discuss kids, let alone have one. I just don't know what to do.
1 AnswerOther - Pregnancy & Parenting8 years agoJealous Boyfriend. Help?
I don't know if I'm over re-acting. Maybe I am. I don't really know how much more of it I can deal with though. My boyfriend has always been the jealous type, but lately, I feel it's been getting out of hand. He called me tonight, and we started discussing the movie The Avengers. He then proceeded to tell me about how his ex-girlfriend used to obsess over how hot the actors were, then asked me if I thought they were too. I told him I would rather not talk about it, because we've been fighting a lot lately. I guess that meant I was guilty in his eyes. He blew up, accused me of cheating on him (this makes the 4th time), and threatened to break up with me (also the 4th time). He told me, "If you're lusting after actors, who else do you lust after that you see every day?" He called me names.
I feel like he's over-reacting. He insists it's me that's over-reacting. I don't know. I just can't take much more of it. I'm sick of fighting with him over petty crap. Any help or advice is much needed and much appreciated.
6 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agoA Little Advice Please?
I'm 21 years old, and I just found out that I'm pregnant. I live with my mother, who really doesn't like the guy I'm seeing. Normally my mother and I have a pretty good relationship, but we've been fighting a lot lately. I know I have to break the news to her eventually, but I'm a little nervous about doing so since we can't seem to get along. Any tips on how I can tell her that she's going to be a grandmother?
2 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting9 years agoChristians: What proof is there that your god is real?
I'm not asking this to be rude or impolite, because I really do want to know. Last night, my boyfriend and I got into a discussions about our two very different religions, and at one point in the conversation he told me that there was more proof of the Christian god than there was of the Pagan gods. This comment made me feel as if he were saying that his religion was more valid than mine, and it kind of hurt my feelings, but it also made me curious as to what proof he was talking about. I realize that there is no real proof that my gods exist. I go by my faith alone. What proof is there that your god exists, or do you also go by faith alone?

I'm auditioning for our school's musical in a few weeks, and I need to sing 16 bars or for 30 seconds. The musical this year is "Footloose", and I'd really appreciate some suggestions since I'm having a bit of trouble thinking of something to sing. Thanks in advance to everyone who relpies. Oh, almost forgot to mention, I'm a soprano.
