It seems like all my family guy, futurama, and the simpsons are all on only full screen when they turn to DVD. is this true?

So I finished the main plot of Feros and then this guy asks me to go back to ExoGeni to receive some of his data at his work station (sorry, but i forgot what the assignment is called). But when i try to go back to ExoGeni through the Skyway Elevator, the action to start up the elevator is gone. Does anybody know why? Note: Right after i completed the main plot of Feros, i IMMEDIATELY left the planet, already having the side assingment. THEN i went back to complete it. that's when i encountered the problem.
