I have a room in my house that I don't use much and I wanna improvise a sauna in it. Planning on lighting charcoal and keep on pouring some water in it to generate steam

But I'm concerned about Carbon monoxide. So say a room that is 4 by 4 meters and 2.5 meters high

How much charcoal on weight will emit enough CO to become lethal?

Sadly I live in a third world country and I looked well and hard for a CO detector and find absolutely none even in the most popular and large hardware and safety stores

So I just had Hershey kisses and a few minutes later I had a *****. Wasn't watching porn or had any sexual thoughts.

My father invited my stepmom's family into dinner at a restaurant. My sister was supposed to meet her friend so my father asked her if she can bring her friend along to the dinner. I picked up both my sister and her friend and went to the dinner.

I was sitting next to me father, my sister next to me and then her friend. My stepmom's brother suddenly asked me and my sister and I quote "that beautiful hot girl over there is your relative?" I was shocked, I acted like I didn't hear him properly and he repeated the same question.

Might sound innocent. But our family is very conservative and so is my sister's friend. Not to mention this dude's wife was sitting right next him and when I looked at her she seemed clearly upset. It was like a straight flirt in our view.

My sister's friend was very upset as well and I heard her whisper to my sister how rude this guy is. She kept on calling her brothers to come pick her up. But they weren't available so she asked me if I can drop her home so I did. had to leave early and not until it was at an appropriate time. My father didn't object, he heard the whole thing.

Is this guy a jerk or what. This has upset me. I don't think this is an appropriate behavior in the present of a conservative family, and especially not in front of his wife sitting right next to him.

The majority of the trip I had to hear my sister and her friend complain about his rudeness.

Do you think it was inappropriate or are we overreacting?

In case you are not aware of the term "Flase awakenening" it is when while you are dreaming you dream that you woke up, and do the morning routine, washing your face, brushing your teeth, get dressed and all, then suddenly wake up and realize the waking up and routine was just a dream.

Well a couple of days ago I had the exact same false awakening twice in a row. I had dreamed that I have woken up and heard some noises in the living room, since I'm alone after my divorce I thought it was a burgler, so I took my sword "Yes I have a real sword in my bedroom" and walked to the living room and saw my ex- wife there, I asked her how the hell she got into the house then BAM! I wake up.

It was still very early so I went back to sleep. only to have the exact same false awakening again. and woke up at the exact part.

I dont like false awakening, makes me wake up confused and can wreck my mood for the day.

Is it normal to have this more than once in the same night/morning. I was extremely tired the night before that and I had to wake up before I got fully rested.

After several attempts to get approved for weight loss surgery she finally got approved by government sponsored program but had a waiting period of 14 months.

At the time her brother's wife was approved for another government sponsored surgery due in 3 months but she backed up at the last minute, so her brother approached and told her she can get into the surgery pretending to be his wife since their ID checks are quite poor she would be able to fool them. I firmly objected for 2 main reasons,

First because she is impersonating someone else which when caught she will get into trouble with the law.

Secondly because her sister in law already made all physical tests including blood tests and we all know that her sister in law have a different blood type and have some sort of blood disease. So she will be exposing her body to another blood type which can cause serious rejection, and she will get medication for a blood disease she wouldn't need all under full anestesia, very dangerous in all counts.

She stubbornly refused to listen, saying that she will do it no matter what, I kept on gently reminding her of the dangers of her approach over a course of 3 months, but she remained very stubborn, I presented her with medical facts about the danger of this approach but she remained stubborn. I told her brother who is also ignorant about the dangers but he is also saying that his sister wants it so he will go ahead a

I got this HP laptop

The screen appears to light up but no display is shown. Like a black lit screen

I hooked up the laptop to my TV set via HDMI pot on my laptop and it is displaying there

Reinstalled the display driver and rolled back via system restore but still not displaying

Tried clearing flea power but only once but not solved

Any suggestions on what's going on. I ruled out software so it appears to be a hardware issue. But I'm not good at hardware

It has been a while since I saw my old man and I usually bring a small gift to him when I visit him after long absence. I'm seeing him this Friday and am planning to buy a gift but my brain seems to **** down and Friday is closing by and I have no idea what to buy him

My father is semi conservative. He earns 8 times what I earn so my gifts are not as shiny or classy as the items he posses since he does wear expensive watches and have expensive pens that will tear my budget if I try to match his level.

The last two gifts I bought him, one was a silver prayer bead. The other is a wallet.

He does like electronic gadgets and he always have the latest phone and tablet PCs with nice accessories.

He travels a lot be because of his work and he does seem to have what a light traveller needs. Im no traveller so my ideas are limited in this field. I might use some help here with suggestions in this field

He maintains a healthy lifestyle. He monitors his calories intake and works out regularly. I was thinking about buying some small gadgets that helps in monitoring his workouts but again I'm no expert in this field

I was thinking about a ring. He likes wearing silver rings with some sort of gems. Again not my field.

My field is computers (yes I'm a geek) and he seems to have the best in this field since he asks for my advice on the best related items he can get and he gets them

So any suggestions. Any other fields that you think will make my old man happy

Tomorrow is our 8th wedding anniversary. I have already made plans, I have already bought the gifts from 3 different shops and they will be ready to be picked and wrapped tomorrow morning, I had them stored with them to make it a surprise. The flower shop promised to have fresh beautiful rose bouquets by tomorrow morning as well.

I have made a reservation at a fancy beach-side Italian restaurant.

And my wife seems to totally forgot that our anniversary is tomorrow. I have never talked about my plans and never mentioned it. I wanted to make a surprise for her.

Well how did I know that she forgot about it?

Today while we were returning from visiting my old man she told me that she want to spend the whole day with her brother, I was like: What? No!, go to him on Sunday, not tomorrow?. She asked why, I said just make it another day. I have other plans for tomorrow.

I never forget our anniversary, she did forget about it once I think our third or fourth, but I never forget one. I do make plans for it way ahead of time, and always want to make it a special day.

But this time, the fact that she seems to have forgotten about our anniversary is really ringing some bells in my head.

I was having a very stressful time at work. During these days well my wife wanted sex, my mind was very busy with all the **** happening at work. It happened that during the intercourse I was drifted away with a particular thing that happened at work that was really upsetting.

I lost a considerable amount of weight. I was morbidly obese and now I am close to my ideal weight.

I noticed that my sex drive have increased dramatically as I started losing weight. I am new to this. I was obese most of my life and my sex drive was pretty good even when I was obese but now I have control issues. I am horny all of the time. I do have regular sex with my wife but she got used to the old days when we used to have it like 3 times a week. Last night we had 3 times, and today she is out of town and I masturbated like 4 times already.

I am serious guys I feel like a teenager again. I really need to focus on other things... I am up to a promotion this year. I have to acquire re-certifications and get new certifications to help me go up my career.

I tried meditation but the more I go deep the more my thoughts shift towards sex. I tried yoga, I tried exerciser. The only activity that keeps my mind away from sex is video games. And I got tired of doing the dailies on World of Warcraft and those darn campers in Call of Duty get me frustrated.

Any ideas.. I'm 34 by the way.

A troublesome Hadith was mentioned in Bukhari's Sahih, it roughly translates:

Muhammad said:

By God, who is no other god, One will spend his life doing the work of the people of Paradise until there is between them but an arm's length then his destiny claims and he does the work of the people of Hell then goes to hell, and one of you works of the people of the Hell until there is between them but an arm's length then his destiny claims and he does the work of the people of Paradise and he goes to Paradise.

End of Hadith

So in case you didn't understand let me tell you what this means. It says that a Muslim can spend his whole life doing good and helping others and doing all things that Allah loves, but since Allah have decided from the beginning that he is destined to hell that good person will do at least one last act of evil or whatever is supposed to send someone to hell, and all his good work perish and will be sent to hell.

And in the same Hadith the opposite is absolutely possible. One can spend his entire life doing evil deeds and basically breaking all the rules that Allah has put, but Allah has decided from the beginning that this person is to go to Paradise, so at the end of this evil person's life he/she might do one last good deed before death and therefore find his/her way to Paradise. Imagine Hitler/Saddam Hussain/Stalin in Paradise.

How is it fair that you spend your whole life doing good and obeying every command that Allah or Muhammad has ordered but since you are already destined to to go to hell all your good work means nothing and you still go to hell.

Is that Justice?

In Islam Muhammad once said that most Prophets worked as Shepherds during their lifetime. Muhammad himself worked briefly as a Shepherd.

What that tells me is that most followers are exactly like Sheep, and one just need some experience in working with Sheep in order to make people follow him and what he asks just like a Shepherd does with his sheep.

Which makes me wonder how high is the percentage of Sheep-minded people out there who follow their Shepherd's orders even long after the Shepherd died?

I didn't fast in Ramadan, I drink water, smoke my pipe, and eat watermelons whenever I get hungry, until the sunset prayer where I eat with the rest of the family.
