4 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agowedding chapel trouble?
Help! Ok, so people we never thought in a million years are coming to my wedding and now we are having a little trouble with the church. I know it is my fault for assuming they weren't going to come so I don't need comments on how I should have prepared better. But I do need suggestions on what to do with the church. The church holds 90 people. My list is at 107. They had told me previously that it was ok to not count my wedding party which totals 16 +minister and bride and groom which equals 19. So we are 88 seated. We are still waiting back on several people to RSVP. Should I ask someone close to me to only come to the reception? The church will not bring in more chairs.
4 AnswersWeddings1 decade agohelp I have major RSVP problems!?
i just sent out my wedding invitations and I am starting to recieve the RSVP cards. The problem is we are having an adult reception because the location has an ungated pool and to be honest if we invited everyone's children it would have just been too many people. I know some people have a hard time swallowing that. But my problem is that even though I only address the invitations to the parents and it says "adult reception" they are RSVPing for the whole family!!! What do I do? We simply cannot fit everyone!

2 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agowhat will my monthly car payments look like?
I am buying a new car and this is my first time financing. If I put 5,000 down on a $26,000 car what will my monthly payments look like over five year loan with 7.35 interest. I learned how to do all these calculations in college I am just not very good at them. Also, is 7.35% really high or pretty standard for someone with fair credit?
4 AnswersBuying & Selling1 decade agohas anyone used Meridia? Were you successfull?

1 AnswerDiet & Fitness1 decade agoDoes anyone have a hard core work out plan that will take off about 10 pounds a month?
I gained a bunch of weight due to a thyroid problem and unfortunately it doen't come off like it came and I have my wedding in March. I have gotten the eating part covered by going on nutrisystem but I need a hard core work out plan that burns a lot of fat. I am extremely dedicated and have no doubt that I can lose what I need to with the right plan.
I get bored easily on treadmills though so preferably something that doesn't involve those. Thanks!
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness1 decade agoHow do I say "no Kids" on the invitation?
I really don't want children at my wedding but I don't want to put "no kids" on the invite because that sounds a little harsh. How can I say this without sounding rude?
25 AnswersWeddings1 decade agodo you think this is a good idea?
A friend of mine and I want to start a business. When coming up with ideas we realized what we both love most are dogs and we wanted to do something that related to that. SO we came up with getting a boutique for dog apparel, toys, bowls, beds. All luxury and cute. With people today spending ridiculous amounts on their pets do you think this will be successful. It will be in a higher end part of Houston (where oil company workers are not feeling the effects of economy strain as much as the rest of society and have money to blow).
2 AnswersOther - Business & Finance1 decade agoDoes it matter who throws your shower and how many you have?
I have a maid of honor and a maitron of honor for my 2009 wedding. They want to throw my bachellorette party and a bridal shower for me. One of my bridesmaids wants to throw me a shower as well. Does it matter who plans your showers or how many of them you have? I am thrilled that they all want to do this for me, I just don't want my MOH's to be offended if one of the bridesmaids throws a shower also. Do you think it matters?

63 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoCoworker trouble please help!!!?
In the last two weeks my company has demoted our former Service and repair manager into a position of technical sales in the same area as me. This means a teammate for me who was previously doing the job alone with no guidance for the last 6 months. The only problem is he does not respect some of the work I have already done with current clients. He goes in and tries to take over deals I have been working for months. The issue is he has invited himself to all of my meetings because we are a "team" but then when I offer to help in areas he is not familiar with on deals he is working he cuts me out of them so that he can get full credit. He is basically a credit hog. And while I appreciate that he has more technical knowledge than I do and is a large help I am tired of him trying to take over my deals. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried to be subtle in discussions with him and asked him to sit down with me to form a gameplan but he keeps putting me off. How do I deal

1 AnswerWeddings1 decade agoshould I copy my boss in on all my emails with clients?
I recently got a new sales partner who has never actually done sales before. In all my previous companies I have never had to copy my boss in on my follow up emails to clients. The new guy sends out follow up emails after meetings with clients (which you should do) but then copies practically the whole office in on them as well. They seem like "look at me and all the work I am doing" emails to me. Am I wrong? Is this common practice to fill everyone in? I feel like it looks bad to a customer when you send the email to everyone. Should I copy my boss in on my emails to so I don't look bad compared to this new guy?

10 AnswersWeddings1 decade agocontact with the exes?
i have always been that girl that stays friends with all of her exes. I am still in contact with most of them on a friendly email catch up basis. However, my problem is that whenever one of my exes talks about his new girlfriend I still get a little jealous. I love my fiancee and I know he is absolutely the perfect one for me but why do I still get a little jealous when my ex talks about his new girlfriend? I have no desire to get back with him and I know he is completely wrong for me and I love my fiancee. I just don't understand why I feel this way. Does it mean I shouldn't get married? Please help!
