I had this Maxtor 160 GB External USB Hard drive, I made two partitions on it and used them to backup my software installers and videos. From about last week, I got a virus on it and decided to format and delete the 2nd partition and thereby resize the 1st partition to allocate all the spaces. I sucessfully deleted the partition and was resizing the the 1st partition when my UPS suddenly died. Now, when I reconnect it to my PC, it still shows the two partitions with the file format RAW. I tried two softwares I have (Partition find and mount, getdatabackNTFS) to recover the data in the first partition but failed. I haven't formatted or make any changes to the drive yet. I cannot lose all my collected and bought softwares in my 1st partition ... all my hard work over internet and money ... anyone have any suggestion or software, I would really appreciate it. My job is a computer technician in a governmental department, last year, I used to work with computers for long durations (abt 10hrs a day), doing sensitive works related to General Election to the government. I have this old PC with an Asus P5RD1-VM mobo with a TV card on it which I use for entry level media PC and it worked fine. Yesterday I installed a Geforce 8400GS 512MB Video card and it worked flawlessly, but the TV card stopped working. When I remove the graphics card, the TV card worked fine. Later, I found that using another software such as Ulead Video studio, i can access the TV card with both the cards installed, it was the SuperTVpro software that came with the TV card which failed to see the hardware. I use the SuperTVpro software regularly for watching and recording TV on this PC. Please help .... can you suggest a solution or another software ? I use Windows Vista Business.

My XPSP2 computer displays the time in 24-hour format, how do i change it back to 12-hour format ?

My XPSP2 computer would not copy anything, pressing ctrl+c does not mean anything and when i open the clipbook viewer using Run/Clipbrd command, the Clipbook window keeps on flashing and when i press ctrl+c to copy a file, it appears in the clipbook viewer for a moment and then automatically disappears.
