  • Italian Folk Songs for Children?

Hello! I'm working on Kodaly stuff, which essentially rn means collecting folk music that I would use to teach children.

I would like to include some songs that children in Italy sing (that you might find them singing at school or when playing with friends). Does anyone know a song/resource?

    (Already tried music category)

  • Need Relationship Advice - Please help!?

    We both are gay.

He IS real. (video chatted, seen pictures of him that couldn't be easily produced, etc.) Claiming he isn't or that I need to watch out is irrelevant (of course I know to be cautious about this sort of thing regardless)

    Online relation.

    ----

He and I have been together since September, it was established we had strong feelings for each other around November.

We don't contact each other enough anymore (Aka: He doesn't respond to me).

I message him every day, but I don't expect him to stop what he's doing and answer me, or to expect 40 'I love you' messages. But.. here's how 9/10 days go for me.

Say.. 6 - 7 pm. (He's an hour ahead, so 7 - 8 pm for him, and he usually stays up 'till 12 pm - 1 am)

    Me - Hey! :) How're you?

Him - I'm Good, just finished doing [something]. How was your day.

Me - It was tiresome, got of work, etc etc etc. How was yours?

    THE END. (stops replying)

    Or..

    5 pm

    Me - Hey? :) How're you? <3

    THE END.

    (Stops replying)

*I text him once a day, I don't want to come across as obsessive, if he doesn't respond, then I text him tomorrow.* - Is that a good strategy?

*He seems to always be at work until 5 or so, so that's why I text him later in the day*

doesn't seem like much of a conversation to me.

I don't expect an immediate reply, but I would be hoping for a reply EVENTUALLY.

    (Which is not the case).

I've messaged him before something along the lines of

"Hey Tyler, I was wondering if I could talk to you for a second, I feel like we don't contact each other enough, I mean, we hardly talk anymore, but I wanted to know what you think of our relationship first, thanks for listening. <3"

    THE END.

    (You know the drill.)

So I was wondering, what the hell should I do? I know strangers can't offer that much insight into my own personal experience, but if anyone's dealt with a situation like this before, I'd be happy to lend an ear. What fault may I have in this? And what can I do on my part to actually get to talk to him?

  • The Bible - Hypothetical Questions Pt. 1?

    Referring to the Christian Bible.

I am not Christian, just a regular insane person, so expect errors and assumptions in my questions, but the intention of this is purely hypothetical, not another "god's not real" thing

This could be a whole waste of time because of potential misuse of the words 'adapt, change' etc etc' but just humor me.

(Adapt for this purpose is to not erase something, but neither to commonly practice it)

Throwing aside all of this "It's not real in the first place" (Treat it as real, regardless of your beliefs)

    No, I don't have quotes.

Assuming the definition of Evolution to be "A gradual process in which something changes into a different and usually more complex or better form".

A: Do you think it is a 'good' thing that the Bible adapts to society, in that we take the bits and pieces that we deem just to create a more equal and fair society? Or does that go against God in the sense that people may dismiss certain parts of the Bible. (Once again, not to say that is a bad thing

Or does that go against God in the sense that people may dismiss certain parts of the Bible. (Once again, not to say that is a bad thing)

I.E. (Strong Example) How Christians would no longer consider racism or sexism as something that is fair? (Not to say that makes the Bible bad, but just as an example of how we've adapted it). We haven't erased it, but we don't enforce it either.

B: If God wanted to create fairness, equality, and justice (I am sure he did), why is it that he let humans interpret it? Humans are not as wise as God, nor as just, sensible, etc. Did God mean for his laws to be interpretable then, to evolve as man does? (Technology, Laws, Etc. not referring to genetics) If so, what else do you personally think could be a potential interpretation (or deviation) from a passage commonly perceived in one way.

C: Based on the fallacious reasoning that there's a small difference between 1 -2, 2-3, 3-4, 5-6, etc etc. That there's only a small difference between 1 and 10, do you think that the Bible has become misinterpreted to a dangerous extent, or that it will become misinterpreted to said extent?

D: If the Bible adapts to Humans (in the way that humans interpret it), what are the core values of the Bible? How about In the case where societies' views contend with the Bible?

E: Is it morally correct to change views on the Bible in cases of political debates, and what would be the line between heresy and survival for the Bible? (back to that sexism/racism thing) assuming that 20 years after some progressive event, the Bible would become unfavorable if it still was popular to enforce said forms of discrimination?

F: If Humans constantly change, and thus change the Bible, wouldn't the Bible contradict itself eventually, due to modern adaptations? Or is contradiction acceptable in the Bible? (It certainly happens to Humans) Can the Bible ever achieve a state of perfectness (Mutually respected between all people?

G: am I even making sense anymore?

  • Fasfa Verification forms?

Hi, I'm a future student at Sierra College, and I applied for Fasfa for my fall classes I registered for. I have recieved the BOGW-C Waiver, (As it lists I have said award from the Fasfa application on my bill for class fees). I have already paid that, but out of curiosity, I checked my Financial Aid Awards section, and it said that I have unsatisfied student requirements. I still need to fill out

    A Parents W-2 form

    Parents 2011 IRS Tax Transcript

    Student Spouse 2011 W-2 Forum

Title IV Authorization for current year non-inst. charges

Title IV Authorization for Prior year charges

    verification worksheet-depended 2012-2013

(each were flagged with a 'Unsatisfactory' Symbol, which is fine, I can send them the forums, but the only problem is that I appear to be a... little late on the deadlies at this point :sss These forums were categorized under 'needed' May 10th, 2012. :s

The question is, what should I do? Should I fill them out ASAP and send them right away? Or would it not really matter? Does my BOGW-C Waive still count? And what will happen if I've already paid my balance -With- the award accounted for? And yes yes I leared my lesson, going to check that tab every time now D: If you can give any help, thankyou so much! :)
