  • Convincing Parents for a pet Rat?

So I've had mice for many years, and currently have 3 lovelies, but I would now love to own a rat after reading and rsearching about how wonderful they are. I don't know how dad feels, but mum won't hav a bar of it.I've told her how the're loyal, vry much trainable, less smelly than mice, can be litter trained, etc etc. She knows how well I look after my 3 dogs and the mice, I pay everything for them and always clean my mouse every week. But mum hates rats - just for their appearance. She said they're sheer size, they'r disgusting tails and their horrible long teeth. Will I ever be able to convince mum, let alone both of them? :/

  • how to stick photos to painted canvas?

I've tried blue-tac, double-sided paint and roll-on glue, but nothing will stick. I would prefer somthing that will enable me to replace photos, but any suggestions welcome, thanks in advance! :-)

  • Dog breeds you'd love to own and why?

    Just curious :-)

I currently have a staffy mix, an australian shepherd, and a schipperke. I do conformation showing (obviously not with the staffy mix!), and agility and obedience competition with all three.

One day I am DEFINATELY going to own an australian cattle dog, along with the schipperke, they're my favourite breed! Intelligent, willing to please, active, loyal to one person, good guard dogs. I will also definately own another schipp :-))

There are plenty more breeds I say I'd love to own, however I don't know how thats going to work out :-))

Akita Inu - not an american one, the japanese one. They're not yet a reconised breed in australia, however they are loyal, intelligent, one person dogs who are just so beautiful. Overseas there are dogs that compete in agility too.

Chow Chow - Although not agility or obedience dogs, they are so noble and beautiful. Although they're cat like and independant, I think it would be a good challenge. They're loyalty to one person also gets me!

St bernard - I love the giant breeds, however most are just too hairy! A smooth coat st bernard isn't too bad for me, and I love their calm, docile disposition.

Saluki - They are such ellegant, and beautiful dogs. Definately a challenge to train, but would be fun doing it. They seem like affectionate couch potatoes at times, however their whining/howling could get frustrating :-))

Gosh, I could go through a dog book and find so much more! However I'd love to take a break from conformation showing and go down to the local shelter and adopt a dog suitable for companionship and agility again. It was fun doing that many years ago when I adopted Cherry the staffy mix!

  • I need an intense fast paced song for my media assignment?

I have to make a film trailer and there is a scene where a girl is getting attacked by 2 men so I need a song without lyrics that would help create the mood for this. Any help greatly appreciated! :-)
