  • How to catch a pot smoker?

Is there a test that can be given to toddlers to tell if their parents are smoking pot? My brother-in-law is sure his ex is smoking around his baby. Thanks for any help! He is trying to compile enough evidence to take his daughter.

  • Who gets the bed?

My brother-in-law has just been booted out of the house by his live-in girlfriend of 3 years. They have a 2 year old daughter together and she has a 6 year old from a previous boyfriend. A year ago my brother-in-law received a $40,000 settlement from being fired from a job. He is disabled (leg cut off below knee) and the company he was working for fired him after he was unable to fully perform his duties after another surgery. Anyway, he was awarded the money and he paid off his 2005 Ford Expedition, bought the girls a $700 swingset, spent $3,000 having his girlfriend's teeth fixed and bought them a $2,000 queen size bed and mattress to sleep on. All he wants from all of this is the mattress! He left her the vehicle, swingset, and everything else they had acquired in their 3 years together. Does he have any rights to the bed? She did not work in the 3 years they were together and she is saying that it was all a gift! We are in Arkansas - does anyone know his rights? Thanks!!!

  • 3 year old molested victim gets justice!?

Hello everyone! I have posted several questions in the past 3 months since my daughter got molested by a 10 year old neighbor. I just wanted to update those of you on how our trial went today! The judge found the 10 year old guilty of 2nd degree sexual assault and sentenced him to an indefinite probation period stating that 2 years wasn't long enough and that HE would determine when the probation period would end! He also laid out some very strict rules for the 10 y/o's family to follow - such as a 7pm curfew, no alone time with ANY other children including his siblings, no more spending the night with anyone other than grandparents, a community risk assessment to determine his risk of committing this crime again, no more being tardy to school, no more unexcused absences at school, a "'C" average or better in school, etc.... Justice was served today and to all of those who have been praying for us, please know that your prayers were answered today in the form of a GUILTY verdict!

  • If a person confesses to committing a crime???

Does the Judge or Jury have to convict him of a crime, or can they rule no crime was committed?

  • How many of you vote for someone because you like their spouse?

We have a man running for prosecuting attorney in our town and everyone I talk to says they are voting for him because they like his wife, went to school with his wife, goes to church with his wife, etc.... Is this reason enough to vote someone into a position of power in your community? What do you think?

  • How many of you read an asker's previous questions before answering?

I always check out what these people have asked before, that way I can know if they are for real or not! You would be surprised what you can learn about people just by checking out their previous questions!

  • How many of you agree/disagree with labeling a 10 year old as a sex offender?

My 3 year old daughter came home one day and told me that the 10 year old boy from across the street had put his "tee-tee" in her "tee-tee". Upon examination at the hospital she told us that he also put his fingers inside her "tee-tee" and that he made her lick his "tee-tee". My 6 year old son told us how he and my daughter were playing outside (we live in a cul-de-sac) and that the 10 y/o asked them to come inside his house to see a new game he had bought. He showed them the game, then asked my son to go play with his younger brother because he wanted to "talk" to my daughter for a few minutes. My son left the room, the 10 y/o shut and locked the door, and then did these horrible things to my daughter. His parents are claiming that he was just playing doctor. We go to court in November and it will be up to the judge to determine if he should be put on the sex offenders list. I think he knew EXACTLY what he was doing. What do you think - potential sex offender or future doctor?

  • Who else here would like to start a few new Categories???

    How about a categorie for:

    (1) Am I pregnant? (for all these underage girls who are old enough to commit to having sex, but too stupid to commit to using protection)

    (2) How do I know if a boy (or girl) likes me? (again, for all these underage kids who are old enough to commit to having sex, but are too stupid to know that if they will just ask, they will receive.)

    (3) Is there a God? (for all of those lost and wondering out there who don't really care what we say, they are just looking for a fight)

    (4) Will you do my homework for me? (for all of the lazy ones who would rather waste their time typing their homework into a website, than just opening their books and finding the answers themselves)

  • Xanax - How does it help with anxiety?

My doctor just prescribed some Xanax for me due to the fact that my 3 year old daughter was recently molested. I haven't ever taken anything like this and was wondering what to expect. Will it make me sleepy? Should I take it before bed or in the a.m.? Is it addictive? Thanks!

  • Why do my freshly washed towels still smell used?

We bought new towels a few months ago. I have a front load Neptune washer and dryer. I use Tide HE detergent. I rarely use liquid fabric softener because I have read that it affects their absorbency. Why do they still stink after I pull them out of the dryer? Is there anything I can do besides buy new towels?

  • "Scott Free" - Where does the term Scott come from & what does it mean?

My husband asked me that the other day, so I thought I would pose the question to all of you. Any ideas?

  • Do you think it is "normal" for a 10 year old to play doctor with a 3 year old?

My 3 year old daughter was raped by a 10 year old neighbor boy. His parents are telling people that he was only playing doctor and that we are blowing this out of proportion. Did your doctor ever pull his pants down and stick his penis in your private area or in your mouth???? What do you think? Is this "normal" 10 year old behavior?

We reported this to all the appropriate authorities and the child partially confessed, but it baffles me that his parents think that this is acceptable behavior! We go to trial in November!

  • How do I deal with neighbors whose son molested my daughter?

These people live directly across the street from me. Their son confessed and we are not scheduled for trial until November. How am I supposed to live across the street from these people for another month without losing my cool? BY THE WAY - they rent that house whereas I own my home!

  • As a victim of a crime, how do I request a special prosecutor?

My 3 year old daughter was sexually assaulted by a 10 year old neighbor boy. That boy's grandmother is a former county judge and an attorney in town. The prosecutor informed me from the very beginning that he has a professional relationship with the grandmother of the offender. The judge recused himself due to the fact that he personally knows my family and he, too, has worked with the grandmother for many years. Should the prosecutor not do the same? Do I legally have the right to ask the prosecutor to recuse himself and allow the State Supreme Court to not only issue a special judge, but also a special prosecutor?
